CARVALHO GROVE HEALTH AND REHABILITATION CENTER

Carvalho Grove is the worst place ever. I had worst experience with my father being in there. The place is filthy and rodents in patients rooms, cannot leave snacks on the nightstands, my father fell several times, and staff very rude and no sympathy or respect for patients or family members. I have so much to say about this place enough to write a book. Do not put your love ones in that facility otherwise they will die faster.

I can't say enough what wonderful care my father has received at Carvahlo Grove over the last 4 years. People mention to me all the time that he could be in a "nicer" facility. My answer to that is that he has received extraordinary care and support from everyone that works there: nurses, case managers, the Director of the facility (Tony), the women who deliver his meals - EVERYONE. I am so thankful for every one of them!

Staff and nurses are great. Activities galore . Laurie is amazing with all these things they come up with to keep them busy! I am so glad I chose carvalho Grove . Everyone is helpful, friendly and caring!! Shout out to Melissa, Cheryl nurses and Ida my mom's aide who is amazing!! Thank you all!

Hello everyone I like to tell my story on how my stay was at Carvalho Grove ,well I ended up getting Lyme disease a rare case of it only one in 5 have my condition, and I end up passing out and then ended up in the hospital Saint Anne's hospital, well my condition from the Lyme caused me to have a stroke and pressure on my brain so they transferred me to Boston for surgery, i now have a pace marker and a shunt in my head to release build up of water on my brain I am disabled now ,but after my stay at Saint Elizabeth ,they transferred me back to Carvalho Grove for Rehab my stay there was incredible the nurses and doctors and the PT crew that helped me learn to walk was top notch the care and how they assisted me with my walking and learning how to walk again was a battle but they never gave up on me I was there for 2 months and 3 months in Boston ,if you need any rehabilitation Carvalho Grove Rehabilitation center will get you back up and going they helped me and I am doing a bit better and still got a long way to go but thanks to Carvalho Grove Rehabilitation center I am feeling my self again thank you to the team of doctors and nurses and everyone there who helped me recover ❤️

My husband Ray was a patient for 3 months following knee surgery. He was was very happy with the staff, the physical therapy department is exceptional. This is the third nursing home that he has been in for rehab so we have experience in what makes a facility a place you would return to. Sarah Brayton was a waste and Somerset Ridge wasn't much better. Carvalho Grove is definitely a great place for rehab. PT was able to get my husband up on his feet, something neither of the other two were able to achieve. One of the first things I noticed, on my pre-admission walk thru tour was how clean it is there. They have a cleaning schedule that is extensive. The staff was attentive and professional. The food was OK.
