HORIZON HEALTH & SUBACUTE CENTER

Staff was splendid. Courteous, helpful, and all with a joy for life. A friend of mine is there, recuperating after a mishap at home, and I sought approval from Administrative Staff for permission to bring my Support Animal when I visit. I presented the required documents and, after a short discussion, was admitted with a warm welcome. My friend and Staff were overjoyed to see my dog, as were the numerous additional patients we encountered inside the facility. It is healing to my heart and soul to see how the presence of a calm animal brings such immediate joy to others while they might be struggling with their personal issues. Staff are friendly and welcoming, as I walked through the doors to visit my father every nurse, staff member that I passed acknowledged me with hello or warm smile. Physical & Occupational therapist are doing a fantastic job! My father is getting stronger everyday while enjoying his stay at Horizon Health. Keep up the great work!

I had the opportunity to meet the staff caring for my loved one during a short-term stay at Horizon. I am impressed by their compassion and attitudes toward the needs of both the individual and their family.family.

Walked into care facility hoping not to be hit by smell of urine, like so many places. It was very clean smelling. People were friendly. My friend really likes it there. Keep up the good work.
