THE PEARL OF HILLSIDE

I am very grateful for the care my mother is receiving at Pear Of Hillside! Mark one of the on staff nurses whom was NOT my mother nurse went the extra mile in resolving a concern. Teamwork makes the dream work is an example of what Mark did on today! Nurse Tocara, Nurse Rosa, Social Worker Remiyah, and an abundant amount of other staffs whom name I will list in another review have all made my mother stay comfortable and I am so grateful for each and everyone of them. I recommend Pearl of Hillside to care for your family member! They can be trusted! Thank you again Mark!!!! Thank you!!!

My brother in law has been in 2 weeks today. No sponge bath or shower, hasn't had a bowl movement in 8 days. Had pneumonia flare up, served cold food, little to no PT. Various tests and X-rays done with no results shared. Was finally given a pitcher of water after asking for it for 2 weeks. They finally extended his bed after asking for it for 2 weeks. He asked to see the roving eye dr,,,, no response. He's lost vision in one eye. Nurse scheduled to see him, didn't show up. Worst care place ever.

I don't even want to give them any stars. 1. I went to go see my friend's dad this morning and he told us that he was choking and no one came between 7 and 8 am and he had to use his back scratcher to hit the side of his bed to make noise. When someone finally came in they told him their going to break it. His call button was on the floor. 2. I had a friend who's mom was there years ago and her mom ended up passing away probably from neglect! It must be the company Pearl because my mom was in the one in elk Grove and they were just as bad! My mom passed away from other reasons but that's not my point! The company is horrible should not even exist!

My father's dementia took a severe turn in July of this year and I needed to relocate him quickly. The team at the Pearl of Hillside took him on and gave him exceptional care. Everyone at the Pearl of Hillside cares deeply about the residents and goes above and beyond to make sure they are comfortable and cared for. The facility itself was very clean and the staff are happy and friendly. I was always greeted with a smile and a story about something my dad did or said that made us laugh. My daughter, who is an EMT and often performed medical transport said that the Pearl of Hillside was much nicer, cleaner, and energetic than any of the other facilities she's been to when transporting patients as well. I can't say enough about how comforting it was to know my father was cared for so well. I had to ultimately move my father again for reasons unrelated to the facility, but on a recent visit back, I was pleased to see that renovations continue and the facility is in better shape than when I was last there.

I cannot thank the amazing team at The Pearl of Hillside enough for the amazing work they do! The staff is so good with communication and makes you feel so comfortable. They are doing some great renovations on the inside as well! Check it out for sure!!
