CARILLON NURSING AND REHABILITATION CENTER

My family and I are so grateful for the care my father received at The Carillon. Having had experience with several other rehabilitation centers in the past, I can say without hesitation that The Carillon sets the standard for what elder care and rehabilitation should look like. When my dad arrived from Huntington Hospital in July, he was in rough shape physically weak, with delirium on top of dementia. From the very beginning, the staff not only provided excellent medical care but also treated him (and us) with dignity, patience, and compassion. Haley went above and beyond to guide me through the process, explaining everything clearly and even helping me navigate insurance questions. She gave me the reassurance I needed to feel comfortable leaving town for a family trip, knowing my dad was safe. Nurses Tom and Danniel are true professionals calm, attentive, and always present when families need them most. CNAs like Latrice connected with my dad in ways no one else could, showing tireless dedication and kindness. Yusuf brought positivity and support that truly made a difference in my dad’s stay. On the therapy side, Laura and her team, Matt and Scott, not only drove my father’s rehabilitation but also took the time to educate and support me as a family member. They celebrated small wins, pushed him when he needed encouragement, and helped us prepare for next steps. What impressed me most was not just the skill of the team, but their culture. Everywhere I turned, I saw staff who genuinely care, who communicate, and who work together to make the patient and family experience better. Thanks to The Carillon, my dad made greater physical gains than we ever expected, and while his cognitive challenges remain, we always felt he was safe, respected, and cared for. For any family seeking a rehabilitation center, especially for a loved one with complex needs, I cannot recommend The Carillon highly enough. The staff here are true gems, and I will always be grateful for the difference they made for my dad and for us.

I went to Carillion Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the first time yesterday, to visit a very special friend who is receiving treatment there. The staff were quite helpful (at first I had some difficulty finding the room my friend was in), and I was surprised by how attractive the facility is. I doubt I will find myself in a position to recommend a rehabilitation facility to anyone, but should the occasional arrive, I will surely offer my positive assessment of Carillion Center!

I am writing this review on behalf of my grandmother Eva. She was a patient at Carillon a few times in the past couple of months. I felt that she received excellent care and even I was treated wonderfully by all the staff. She would like to thank everyone there for their kindness, compassion and patience. Everyone, especially her nurses on unit 3 were amazing! The quality of the staffers should be commended. If she needs to ever go to rehab again the ONLY place she would choose is Carillon.

The nursing and recreation staff are next level . Their compassion, care and comfort exceeds all of our families expectations, in caring for our dear beloved Mother , who has advanced dementia. The environment is safe, meticulously maintained and carefully managed. We are confident that our Mother is cared for with the best possible health care and given significant dignified support.

Fist off all, the staff was very professional and friendly. Upon arrival, the employee at the front desk helped me to check in to the kiosk and was kindly directed me to my destination. Most importantly, the place was clean and neat. I would recommend anyone to visit or be a resident of Carillon.
