STERLING OAKS REHABILITATION

My mom is currently at Sterling Oaks, and I can’t say enough positive things about the care she’s receiving. The staff is compassionate, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure she is cared for. From nursing to rehab services, and especially their highly skilled wound care team, every aspect of her care has been outstanding. For reference, my mother has been at several surrounding facilities recently, and Sterling Oaks is nothing short of amazing! The facility is clean, welcoming, and very well-maintained, with an atmosphere that feels more like a community than just a care center. It gives me and my family great peace of mind knowing she is surrounded by people who truly care about her whole well-being. I HIGHLY recommend Sterling Oaks to any family looking for excellent, all-around care for their loved ones.

If you love your loved one, please do not bring them to Sterling Oaks Rehabilitation Center.My grandmother stayed here after suffering a broken shoulder and nose, and what she went through was heartbreaking. My grandmother stayed here, and the care she received was unacceptable. She went two days without her prescribed medication, and when I asked the staff about it, they couldn’t even tell me what medication she was supposed to be taking. One staff member had her meds written on a small scrap of paper instead of using her medical chart — that’s not safe or professional. Even some of the staff told us privately that they wouldn’t leave their own family member there. That says everything. Communication was terrible, and we were constantly worried about her health. When we decided to move her to a different facility for her own safety, they marked her discharge as “leaving against medical advice,” which was completely untrue — we left because of neglect and unsafe care. I don’t want anyone else to go through what our family did. Families trust these facilities to care for their loved ones, but this one failed to do even the basics. Please look somewhere else where your loved one will be treated with respect and compassion.

My wife entered Sterling Oaks Rehab on a Friday evening and Rebecca , Shandon, Kailon ot and Kaira pt (via video from home) welcomed us and immediately began rehab. Some standout employees were Joseph, Ms Pam, Tori, Tracie, Linda, Abigail, Marian, Ms Rose and Kim (front desk). Special acknowledgement to Brittany (discharge coordinator) for arranging our departure.Thanks so much to Ms Lenicia, director, and all of the Sterling Oaks family for your exemplary care and attention.

Overall I can give this place 4 star. Every place isn’t perfect but they are decent. I do have to give this one CNA, Andrea Hood a 5 star. She takes very good care of my mom and my mom looks forward to the days she works! I’m so grateful to have a person like her caring for my mom. She lifts my mom’s spirit and it helps so much. My mom is 91 and happiness and laughter is what Andrea brings to her and I love her for that!! Thank you so much!! Sharon Booth

Sterling Oaks staff are warm and accommodating. I trust them with my mother care. They have a lot of social activities for the residents. The Activities Director is always doing fun events.
