From the moment you walk in, the vibe practically greets you at the door. It’s that special mix of low morale, awkward silence, and employees whispering things you wish you hadn’t heard. Truly a one-of-a-kind atmosphere. Now, let me be very clear: I have zero complaints about the actual care my loved one has received. The caregivers themselves have been wonderful for years, and I genuinely appreciate them. They’re the only reason I haven’t already packed up and left. But the environment? That’s another story. When I visit and feel the tension, hear the comments, and sense that something is always “off,” it’s hard to pretend everything is fine. It’s concerning enough that I’m honestly considering moving my loved one to another facility—not for the care, but for the culture surrounding it. And as for leadership… well, the administrator’s “professional presence” is something you truly have to experience to believe. Let’s just say her attitude does not exactly scream support or engagement. After all these years, I’m fairly certain she still couldn’t tell you my loved one’s name—which is impressive in its own way. So if you enjoy a workplace where the atmosphere speaks louder than the leadership, where the tension is almost part of the décor, and where professionalism feels more optional than expected, this place will suit you perfectly. For everyone else? You might want to keep looking.

The staff created a wonderful experience for my father here. We visited often and we're always happy at the condition we found him in and their aptitude at keeping the schedule to rotate his body and keep him clean. The nurses and therapists are exceptional.

Our experience at this facility was wonderful to say the least. My mother’s care was phenomenal by all the staff and nurse care. I highly recommend this rehabilitation center to any family who is facing a short term illness with a family member.

We are extremely pleased with the entire staff here. From the admissions process to the daily care, I highly recommend Kingsville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. If you have a family member needing extended care, this is where they need to be.

Kingsville Nursing and Rehabilitation center wasn't the most comforting place. It seemed more like a facility to be placed in to die. One particular hall smelled like urine. On a lighter note, the nurses were all kind and cheerful. As far as I could see they were all working hard, never just standing around joking as they do in emergency rooms. The facility is huge so I'm sure they've got there work cut out for them. Also, my mother did much better there then at the hospital. Thank you for accepting her there, and all is well. Terri Dembski
