BONITA HILLS POST ACUTE

My mom had a mild stroke a month and an half ago. She’s been at this nursing home for a few weeks post hospital stay. All the nurses here are wonderful so far. Some of the patients do cause disturbances at times but I guess that’s to be expected. According to my mom (and me) the food is not the greatest. But all in all it’s suitable and the visiting hours are great!!!!!

I just wanted to share a little bit of our experience in this facility. We had to bring our 81 year old mom that suffered from Dementia to Bonita Hills Post acute care from July to September because of a severe stroke she had in June of this year 2025. Unfortunately my mom passed September 2025 few days ago. While my mom was at this facility I could see the label of care for her. Wanna thank the RN (Raisha) that made my mom feel better, even if it was just talking to her for a minute to try to calm her down at least that’s what we seen while we were there. I wanna thank all the CNAs that attended our mom and even the NAs that help my mom. BUT I REALLY WANT TO THANK (TEAM LEAD 3pm-11pm ESTEFANNI) FOR EVERY SINGLE TIME SHE WENT OUT OF WAY TO GO SEE MY MOM AND MAKE SURE SHE WAS CHANGED AND REPOSITIONED MY MOM. AS SOON AS SHE REPOSITIONED MY MOM, my mom would be comfortable and fall asleep. FOR US AS THE FAMILY that really MEANT A-LOT I JUST WANT TO RECOGNIZE ESTEFANNI TEAM LEAD FOR EVERYTHING SHE DID FOR OUR MOM. Thank you social worker (Marcos Moreno) for the support you gave me and my brother.

Security is as easy as opening the door and walking in, singing in is basically an option. Missing belongings, stolen belongings. Misleading information on patients being transferred to hospital. Patients belongings are up in the air after departure. Straight insanity

We are so happy with this facility. They have taken such great care of our Mom. Every one here has a heart of gold and has given her the complete care that she has needed for her recovery. We can't thank you all enough for the smile that has returned to her face.
