Based on past reviews, I initially wouldn’t have considered sending a loved one here. However, Laguna Hills Rehab is undergoing a major transformation under new leadership and an impressive new team. They’ve become a pleasure to work with, offering a knowledgeable and compassionate care experience.
I’ve referred several patients recently, and the feedback from both them and their families has been overwhelmingly positive. From the warm welcome at admission to the attentive care from nursing and therapy staff throughout the stay, the improvement is clear. I definitely recommend considering Laguna Hills Rehab for short-term rehabilitation needs.

I have been living here for almost four years, and so far, not been impressed with the level of professionalism of most staff at all.
I have well over 35 Years of retail business management experience and I could tell when a business is operating well.
One very, very important item that gets violated by the staff here at all times is,
*SANITIZATION*.
The way it gets violated is that most CNAs (certified nurse assistants) unlike their training, use only one set of gloves to clean a non-functional patient (almost 80% of residents) and in the process, she or he touch all door handles, sink faucets, &, etc.
By doing that, they spread the Germs all over the place.
This facility is operating with only six double showers, which makes it in violation of the city hall of Laguna Hills, the planning department.
Because the base of the beds per person was approved for seven double showers at the time of issuing permits for the building,
One double shower(#6) has been used for the storage of some files and Equipment.
Recently I have seen that the CNAs are using the same towels to clean faces with! Now cleaning the patient's bottom too, FOR THAT THEY WERE USING A SMALL SOFT DISPOSABLE WHIPPS, but not anymore, it’s a new program to cut the EXPENSES further, it’s against Morality in any aspects of life.
Our insurance pays their main office whatever they are asking for plus the COLA (cost of living adjustment) in exchange for a decent service! But still some of the staff here try to *Bully* some patients like, this here is the community’s soup kitchen and they are working as volunteers for free.
The New Administrator * Mr, KYLE * Started Working Here in February 2025 as an Administrator and so far he has done a lot, for both, the residents and also for the Corporate office by working very hard/very late hours, to get things straight and in line.
A few months ago I had to explain to my family that I was not living in a Mental Institution.
Because every time they call me during the day and or the night, they could hear a very loud human voice shouting and screaming, HELP ME, HELP ME.
At first, the person responsible for all the noises was a lady living there named Ms. Barbara P……… which after almost four years she was finally moved out by the end of October 2024(last year).
and now a man is living in the same room and now he makes the very same noise as she did.
Some Nurses and CNAs call that,
The Haunted and Cursed room.
Management knows everything but hasn't done anything yet.
I am sure there are some very good and reliable employees working here,
I have seen a few very good ones that I could name:
Mrs *Yesenia* in the Admission office,
She is a very charming person, is extremely compassionate and professional towards whoever comes to her office, which makes her a very respectable and reliable employee.
Nurses, Maggie, Leslie, Grace, April, Flora, Alexs & Ashly, are all have good attitudes and are very compassionate with their patients.
One of the ADNs (assistant directors of nursing) worth noticing is a young lady named “Mrs, Mandeep”.
In general, she assumes a strong sense of responsibility toward everyone here, whether patients/residents or visitors.
*She is an asset to any organization*.
Mrs, Annabeth, is a very nice nurse and always willing to help. No matter what the subject is! she can always reasonably resolve it without any fussing, instead she has a smile on her face.
Miss Reaiah, DSD, & her associates Wendy and Alex are very nice & professional, and polite with all people who come to them with a Request.
Mrs, Erica is a very charming nurse & is compassionate and polite toward all the patients & visitors.
Mrs, Robin is a social worker, she is very nice and very polite, very helpful.
Ms, Samara, & Mr, Luis are by far the best CNAs and are well worth a Recognition.
Two departments here are operating well.
Supervisors:
1- Mr, Carlos in the housekeeping department and his very hard-working staff.
2 - Mr, Jesus in Culinary (kitchen) and his assistant, Shown, and their very dedicated staff.
Regards
MBM.

I have nothing but good things to say about this rehab center. My mom was sent here after her hip replacement surgery at the beginning of this month. I was hesitant about the place when I looked up the reviews on Yelp because of the low overall rating. She stayed for a week and everything was great! The facility was clean and the staff was really good and on top of everything. They addressed any concerns that I had and were always available either in-person or by phone. I appreciate everybody's patience in dealing with my irritable mom who wanted to be at home instead of rehab. Thank you to the RN's Cindy, AI, and Jeanina, the case managers Jenalyn and Aureen, the PT Shaq, Dr. Kim, and the OT Korean girl (sorry forgot her name). I appreciate all of your hard work!
