My grandfather was admitted to Laurel Health in May 2025. I live far away so have only been able to visit once, but my mom goes fairly often and has sent me pictures. It is absolutely appalling. I wouldn’t leave my dog there let alone my family. We are pulling him out and putting him somewhere else where they will clean the room and actually take care of him. He’s got bed sores all over, he’s sitting on wet blankets for hours and hours, they’re not changing his wound dressings, etc.

The staff at Laurel Health and Rehabilitation work hard every day to ensure the residents are well cared for. They do their best to create a community for residents to enjoy meaningful conversations along with warmth and smiles, a nice assortment of activities and holiday celebrations. I felt this caring and efficient staff provided the best possible care for my father.

I cannot understate the quality of the nursing professionals in this facility RN, LPNs, CNA‘s physical therapist, and occupational therapist are second to none. The CNA‘s will bend over backwards to meet your needs. They’re never angry or upset. If something doesn’t go right, they always have a smile on their face. They are some of the most friendly people I have had the chance to work with. The staff I would like to single out, starts with social services Larissa., Brandy, the transportation coordinator and CNA. Rachel Katie, Derek, Sarah, Amanda, and if I’ve forgotten any names and you know, I have each in one of the CNA staff I would love to have to work with when I was a nurse. I’d also like to thank the director of nurses for being so friendly, the physical therapist, occupational therapy activities goes above and beyond. These people will literally work their tails off just for you to make you feel like you are the only one in the building now I was a rehab patient and not a long-term care patient but the word still stands that this is one of the best places that I have could’ve been placed. I appreciate everything that they have done for me especially the CNA‘s. I feel like they’re my kids and I love each and every one of them when I’m feeling down or defeated they come in with a smile and help me deal with what I’m dealing with granted it’s a broken ankle, but they treat it like I am one of the only people in the world to them when they’re in my room my only discrepancy of this would be that they would receive more staffing making it easier on these kids, so they don’t burn out early. My mom spent 3 weeks in the rehabilitation center after breaking her ankle. The care she received was wonderful! The nurses and caregivers were so attentive and kind. Thank you so much , Laurel Rehabilitation !

Would like to take this time again, to thank all nurses, kitchen staff for all the help and recovery and support and help they gave me to get on my feet after my heart operation. I would also like to say I made good friends with the staff and residents, during my stay. If your thinking of placing a loved one there, that's the place.😁😁😁
