My wife was recently a patient at this facility. She was sent there for physical and occupational therapy following back surgery. This was largely neglected as she was there 5 days before either of the two were begun. They had her in a wheelchair for nearly two weeks with physical and occupational therapy taking up approximately 25 minutes a day 5 days a week with nothing being done on the weekends. The food that was served in this place I personally would not serve to my worst enemy on my worst day. In the 21 days that she was there she lost 8 lbs. Not only would I not recommend this place to anybody that needs to have a family member there . Rather I would question their sanity for sending their family member to such a place

My grandmother has been there since October there has been nothing but emotional and physical neglect. All staff is very cruel, unprofessional and unkind. Recently, my grandmother became sick and they played it off. As just a cold. The nurses kept lying to my family about her temputure be taken finally One nurse took her temperature. While my aunt was there and It was almost 102!! my grandmother never was seen by one of the doctors. She became sicker and sicker. finally after a few weeks of pleading. my family was able to get her to the hospital where she was diagnosed with Covid and pneumonia!! this is completely horrific and disgusting!! . My grandmother could’ve died. your place should be shut down.

My grandmother was transported here from Baystate. She died within less than 2 weeks in hospice care. Prior to being transferred from Baystate, she was stable, able to talk, get out of bed with assistance. Which is why they released her. My sister and I visited her every day to check on her and every time we were there we had an issue. One example she was on puree food diet. She had french toast caked onto her dentures that had been left in for over a week. We had to ask if she was being rotated, even after we requested nurses to write on the white board when they were in and position. She ended up being bed ridden. If you do not want to care for someone, don't become a nurse. This job isn't for everyone. Imagine if this was your relative? Someone you care for and they were getting minimal care.

To Lee Health Care, My father Walter A Sayers Jr was admitted to the hospital, and ultimately had to spend some time in rehab where he was sent to Lee healthcare. I told these people on numerous occasions my dad did not want to be vaccinated. My dad and my families natural immunity was good enough and you took that from me and from him and from my grandkids and for my kids and from his wife for that you will pay. We actually refused the vaccine and we had to do all of our meetings outside when I came to visit. When I came to visit, he was unkempt His hair was a mess he had food in his beard. My dad did not wear a beard. My dad would sit in front of the mirror for hours combing his hair. My father was vaccinated without my permission without my step mother’s permission. Your people are the worst. And for that I am going to sue you for everything I can. I just wanted to inform you. Sincerely, Michael Sayers

Lee Healthcare is a horrible Nursing home across from Laurel Lake in Lee, Massachusetts. This Nursing home is severely understaffed and unsafe. From our experience (while our mother was their, until we recently moved her) residents were neglected and received very poor care. The conditions are also very unsafe and unsanitary. The Executive Director and also the Director of Nursing are well aware of what is happening in that building and even after many, many meetings with both of them no action was taken to improve the living conditions there. The State should come in and close the building down.
