AUTUMN LAKE HEALTHCARE AT LONG VIEW

My mom is the patient and from her perspective it’s a wonderful place to stay for her recovery/rehabilitation. My perspective, as her daughter not receiving care, is the same. The care staff as well as the administrative staff, are amazing!! Everyone is friendly, attentive, informative, helpful…all employees of Autumn Lake do their job well and correctly…which I must add, is very hard to find in any field of work these days. I would hope that when/if I would need the same type of care, I would be able to receive it at Autumn Lake in Manchester, Maryland. My heartfelt appreciation goes out to the employees and staff there. Blessings to you all, for your time, efforts, and the sheer love of your job…I don’t know what we would do without people like you!!🥰

I am impressed how clean this facility is ,dosnt matter what time of day I go in to visit you see someone cleaning .Regular staff are amazing ! Not impressed with most of the agency staff though now and then they have a caring one . For the most part I feel my parent has decent care here !

Everyone I had contact with was very friendly, helpful. A pleasant experience. However, Wednesday 11-5-25 I was to get a call from your Dr. about Carl Rhoten my cousin in regards to his medical treatment. Today 11-6-25 still waiting for that call ! That leaves a bad taste in one's mouth, just saying!

For the most part, we've had good experiences with Longview. All rehab facilities are short staffed, but Longview does the best they can with the competent staff they do have. The meals served look very appetizing and nutritious, with plenty of treats. It warms my heart to see the carers helping the residents with their food, or providing enriching activities for them to stave off boredom. Also, the physical therapy and occupational therapy ladies are excellent!

I cannot say enough nice things about the staff at Autumn Lake Longview. From the front desk, to admissions, to the PA, to the nursing assistants, to the nurses, to PT and OT, to speech pathology, to social workers, to dietary and activities, and laundry services, everyone has been absolutely wonderful. The positive energy at the facility is palpable. The facility is clean and pride is taken in keeping it so. They treat their patients with kindness and compassion, and it is obvious that they love what they do. What is also interesting to me is that I am very aware that they have very challenging careers and that every day presents its own challenges. However, the patients and their families would never know it. I am very grateful for that care and compassion. They are providing my father the care and compassion he needs as he steadily works to improve and return home. They have provided my family with hope during a very difficult and stressful time. My one final hope is that they see the impact that they are making. Thank you so very much.
