THE LAURELS OF MASSILLON

My mother in law needed rehab after a hospital stay. She had wonderful care! She had physical therapy almost every day and ALL the therapists were amazing. They worked with her to her ability but had realistic expectations for her improvement. The nursing staff and the patient care techs were so caring and helpful! The nursing staff always updated me on any changes or concerns. All of the ancillary staff, social services, admissions, etc. were also so helpful and supportive. I would recommend The Laurels to anyone needing rehab care.

We’re so grateful for The Laurels of Massillon and the amazing care they provide for our grandma. The staff is always kind, welcoming, and truly makes her feel at home. It gives us peace of mind knowing she’s being treated with respect and compassion every day. You can tell the team genuinely cares — it’s not just a job to them. Thank you for taking such great care of someone so special to us!

Today makes a year of my dad's passing .. my dad was in the laurels for only 11 days .when my dad arrived at the laurels he was perfectly with it . They knew I lived out of state so I kept telling the staff that something was wrong. But all I was getting is my dad was tired but I knew it was more then that My dad also told me that 1 of the nurses had hit him with a pillow and they would not answer his call light would yell at him.So I decided to make a drive to Ohio to See For myself. When I got there my dad was shaking uncontrollable, he was not being fed ..my dad was not able to talk to tell me what was going on ..his right side of face arm and legs where Bruised and the shaking was so bad he could not feed himself. I removed him that night to the ER the kept him there because they was thinking he was Over medicate And maybe it would wear .but he never got better just worse he passed away a week later. The Doctor that signed the Death Certificate Never even seen my dad and said he died of congestive heart failure which nothing that was happening to him was congestive heart failure. I recommend nobody sends their loved ones to that nursing home.

My grandmother has been residing in this facility for two years, and she absolutely loves it. The therapy sessions have been exceptionally beneficial. Her favorite time is during the activities, as they consistently organize various engaging activities and even bingo nights. This place is truly remarkable, and I am incredibly grateful for the exceptional care my grandmother has received here.
