REGALCARE AT COURTYARD-MEDFORD

We were so scared to put our grandma in a nursing home, but very happy with our choice… We visit often after 5pm every time we get there everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Rehab team is awesome. Activities department is amazing and I can’t thank D unit nursing staff enough

My experience with this place is that, when my mom first got here two months ago I was concerned that she was put on a room with other patient and that freaked me out because I come every day to see my mom and help her with anything she may need. She got a stroke and can’t really have a conversation or move to do anything for her self. she can say some words. I immediately went to the nurse director to ask for help because I have a big family that comes all the time and it wasn’t good to have my mom in a room with anyone because it wouldn’t be fare for the other person staying in the same room. But the nurse director Malik Simpson calm me down and said I can take care of it now. He walked me around and checked if there was a single room and found a better room for my mother. I went from crying to thank God for the help that Malik gave my family. And the director of the facility Alex Morry also was standing in the hall way and came to the room to check if everything was ok. He let us know that if we need help to never hesitate to go to his office. God bless these two hard workers and they good heart to help. Iam happy to have my mother under they look and management. 🙏🙏

I would give a 0 the cleaning woman is kinder than the ones who work there. My Dads room mate was found wealth after hours of no one checking.

How can a place with 3 federal violations in the last 14 months under director Alex morry who I saw yelling at a visitor and patient. My father told me the gossip. My understanding is the director Alex morry because of a personal grudge has prevented this visitor from seeing his mother which is very unfortunate because he was very friendly with my father and they talked sports. In my opinion how and why would any director of a facility like this take the last moments away from this family member. What if that patient passes and this person can not see his family due to a personal grudge. It’s absurd.

Probably one of the worst nursing homes that you can find in MA. I ended up having to transfer my mother to a different facility. The social worker is nice, he did try hard to accommodate my family. But nursing staff is terrible and lack of sympathy as well as clinical experience (they only hand out meds without knowing what they are). Nursing managers don't really care that much. Don't make me start on the NP and medical team, they pretty much do not call you to provide any updates at all. My advice, find a different facility if you can.
