They could do better as far as the food everything has way to much sodium. All packaged food. Nothing homemade. At one time they had cooks but they are to cheap to pay for them. And they need to hire more nurses. Imagine if the woman who owned this place was alive today? She would be very angry how you are running things today. these elderly people are paying to live here. 🤷 Do better
3 years ago today my mother died at Shaw Home Middleboro, MA. Pearl was a gem. Always hated crime and as a banker stopped it many times. Unfortunately, she was robbed at Shaw Home the night before she passed! Sadly, the director defended the perp and accused me of not seeing him open my mother’s drawer and open her purse for money. He takes a few dollars at a time so it goes unnoticed. He likely still works there since the director said he was a model employee. They defended him and left me feeling unclean. I regret not calling the police. Pearl didn’t deserve it. She was a gem.

My mother was lucky enough to be a resident of the Shaw home for 5 years in that time the care she received was first class in everyway. The staff is amazing and provided the best of care and it was very obvious that this was not just a job but the genuinely cared for my mother. I will never be able to thank them enough for the piece of mind and relief they gave me knowing the care she was receiving. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone at the Shaw home. Dennis
Big gratitude to the staff at the Shaw Home for the gentle and professional care of my Mom during the last year of her life. To see her smiles and relaxed demeanor was proof of how loved and safe she felt in your care. Your kindness towards the whole family will always be remembered.
My husband had rehab there after back surgery. The staff is amazing. They were cheerful and accommodating. Thank you for helping Mike get back on his feet!
