Please ignore the few bad reviews that some people felt they needed to leave - My Mom is at Mira Vista now and after a couple of weeks, I can safely say that EVERYONE there is doing a GREAT job and working hard to take care of their residents! She is receiving excellent care from the nursing and CNA staff, PT and OT teams and admin folks too! Everyone is very responsive and it is much appreciated! I live further away but get regular updates from the team and have personally observed everyone's care and concern when I am there....the food is overall quite good (a few hit and misses but that is based on Mom's personal preferences) with several options if you don't care for the daily meal! - Overall, an excellent place for rehab when needed!
Mom received very good care during her stay. PT, OT, Speech therapists were professional, encouraging, and kind. Nurses and aids were caring and helpful. Food was good, and we appreciated ability to buy meals so family could eat with Mom. Older, but clean facility and well-maintained. Five stars!
It's a great place to be in to get better. I can, from the bottom of my heart, that all of you, been a Godsend for me. I cannot say more to how much all of the staff has helped me to get better and stronger than I have been in a very long time. And all that I can is thank you to all of you for everything you do.
My wife and I were extremely pleased with everything at Mira Vista Care Center. The nursing staff was great listening to our needs and my wife's requirements. The physical and occupational therapy staff was very good and worked hard to get my wife mobil and confident with her movement abilities. The nursing assistants were excellent and worked hard to make sure she was comfortable. The food was good and followed her diet requirements, there was plenty of it. We are at home now and enjoying familiar surroundings. Home physical therapy has started now and she is happy that she can continue to get better.
Probably the best care facility I have ever seen. Every staff member that I met was kind and helpful. I was helping out a family friend, and I arrived one day early to make sure everything would be ok, and Mira Vista exceeded all my expectations. Information/activity boards were on every hallway wall, the receptionist, nurses, PT Therapists, Case workers, yes - everyone I encountered were generous with their time and information. The place is clean! and welcoming. I was there almost every weekday for almost 3 weeks and was very impressed.
