My husband has been at Morrison Woods since November 2023. I was told by a first responder, that had been to every nursing home in Delaware County, that Morrison Woods is the very best around. I can only agree as I have been impressed with the care my husband is receiving. All on staff are competent, kind, and caring employees from the front offices to the ladies that clean and do laundry. The nurses and techs work together as a team. The food served is very good and the daily menu varies from day to day. If a resident doesn’t want what is served, they can order from another menu. I eat with my husband occasionally for a minimal charge. This facility is clean and without the odor that is a problem in some other nursing homes. Keep up the great job. 👍👍👍

My Dad has been at the Legacy Unit of Morrison Woods for several years and we are very happy with the care he receives! All the employees treat him as if they were taking care of their own family member.

I came to Morrison Woods after my discharge from Methodist hospital where I had an ORIF for a horribly broken arm. I stayed with you folks for 21 blissful days. I had the diet I wanted (high calcium and protein) good care and fantastic physical therapists. I'm still healing but you people made it possible to come home and be on my own. Thank you!!!

I've spent time at Morrison Woods Rehab on 2 occasions. After my 1st visit that lasted 4 weeks due to a staph infection I really felt I got quality care, the food was excellent, the nursing and PT dept were exceptional. However, after another staph infection and another surgery in May 2020 I again opted for Morrison Woods because of my past care. I was truly & sadly disappointed. Their van to take patients to the doctor ofc is only if you have them in MUNCIE only. I was forced to go by ambulance, nor could I go by private vehicle as I had before. I still had good nurses and PT and the food was still excellent but my opinion of the overall experience at Morrison Woods changed after I started getting notices from Medicare that they were going to stop my coverage and I had to vacate or pay my own bill. I appealed and that decision was overturned. Five days later I got another notice from Medicare with the same circumstances as before. I was told I was released because I was to independent I was given until June 11th to vacate by Medicare but Morrison Woods wouldn't allow me to leave until the 12th. They cancelled the orders for meds on the 11th but turned around on the 12th and rebilled my INS I was sent home with a picc line and a blue bag with meds that they don't ask you what you need at home or that you must pay a copay. I had to report to the cancer infusion center at Ball Hospital. I had infusions Sat...Sun...Mon and Monday night I broke the spacers and had to be hospitalized for another surgery. After this last surgery in June I chose another rehab. I've reached out to the Admin Offices pertaining to this blue bag of meds but they haven't bothered to follow-up. They lost my vote & respect and I would never recommend them to anyone. No one ever came to say why they were going behind my back to Medicare to discharge me. Whatever happened to keeping the patient informed or to communication.

My mother lived there 3 years until she passed. She was in the memory care unit and as she started failing, was moved to the Health Center. The memory care unit is amazing! They work constantly with the residents, are given amazing meals and snacks. They are kind, compassionate, have a great sense of humor, patient, caring, loving caretakers. They constantly kept me updated on every step of moms journey there. The entire facility knew mom, cared about her and for her. There are so many opportunities for fun, laughter, music, art, exercise and mental stimulation with puzzles, games, and a variety of people who come in to work with them. They have everything you need there and will make sure your loved one gets what they need. They became an extension to my family and my friends. Dr Spangler was a huge help with moms anxiety and the trips to Lebanon Hospital were very helpful as well. Dr Baharmi was great! I got assistance and help with every thing i needed. As mom got worse, they helped me with hospice, finding the right one for me, always offered help and checked on me to see if I needed anything myself. Seasons Hospice was wonderful! Near the very end, I felt totally supported and cared for. They kept a cart with snacks and many different kinds of drinks, along with any request for meals that I needed. I didn't have to leave mom. The kitchen staff and maintenance staff are wonderful! There is no place like Morrison Woods Health Campus. I'll always be so thankful for every single person I met there. They work as a team, from the Director to the social worker, office ladies, receptionist and nursing staff etc., they all work towards the benefit of your loved one. There is a once a month family buffet that I encourage you to attend, the food is wonderful and it's a chance to do something special with your loved one. They do a beautiful job inside and outside with the building and flowers. Please consider them, come for a tour, you won't be sorry.
