My experience with Lakewood Rehabilitation has been exceptional for the care of my sister who needs everyday assistance for her personal care. The staff has been professional, kind and caring especially Ellen, the Activity Director, Donna, a well informed Social Worker and Andy the Physical Therapist. The choice to place a parent into a facility is a very hard decision. Upon admission to Lakewood, I was greeted into a warm and welcoming environment. They took great care of my mother and tended to all of her needs.

Lakewood Rehab & Healthcare Center focuses on amazing customer service to their staff, residents, and visitors. The facility is always so welcoming, activities are consistently going on and are very creative and interactive, and the clinical team truly shows their dedication and support.

First time here , my aunt was transferred yesterday from the hospital. Everyone was very nice. The building was very clean. I was very satisfied with my first visit.

My Dad was transferred here after a hospitalization last October. Over the many months since, he received expert care in a clean environment and made many friends. The caring staff (especially Christy, Nicole and Linda - his “girls” as he calls you), rehab team (especially Ray - thanks for always encouraging me not to lose faith he could transition out of skilled nursing) and activities (shout out to Sal for encouraging him to sing - you may have encouraged a monster and I love you for it!) restored his self confidence. He recently transitioned to an assisted living facility and is thriving there because of the care he received at Lakewood. If he ever needs skilled nursing again I would not hesitate to bring him back here (and he would be happy as well). Thank you to the staff for making a tough situation into a pleasant experience.
