This review is for RN Becky Schwartz… becky is an excellent caregiver. She is knowledgeable caring, very nice and extremely personable . She could answer any of my questions and showed my husband how to treat and wrap my wound on the days that she was not there. I would definitely request Becky if I ever required any future home healthcare. I would highly recommend becky to anyone else that required home healthcare from Pruitt Health…thank you..Judie black

While I understand being short staffed and all the other excuses for sub service, surely someone could rectify the situation. My aunt is one of those suffering from dementia however she is still able to make her bed and feed herself. Therefore I think they consider her well enough to care for herself. There's always hygiene issues, no regular schedule for anything, etc. and then there's the condition of the rooms. It's just not a place that would be my first choice. Unfortunately it's the only option at this point and that's what they bank on. Her step daughter is a vigilant advocate for her and that doesn't even change things!

If I could give zero stars I would. My mom has been in Pruitt Neuse for one week. She was sent there for rehab from surgery. The staff and nurses have neglected my mother’s care to the point where she has congestive heart failure at the moment. While my mother had heart issues in the past, she was just fine when she arrived at Pruitt. My mom’s history in her chart shows she is diabetic and she was there for 6 days before I had to intervene and question her glucose levels. They had not checked her levels the whole time she has been there and she had a reading of 202. For 5 days she has complained of shortness of breath and if it wasn’t for me being an advocate and telling the nurses what to do instead of them doing their job, she would probably be dead by now. There have been so many more issues and struggles the get the Dr, and nurses to do their job for patient care it’s unbelievable. I do NOT recommend this facility to anyone’s family.

Thank you Pruitt Health for taking care of our Moma. She has to be there for rehabilitation therapy for her broken ankle.

Per nurse practioner Thurs Feb 6 a.m. - my sister was doing well. Was transferred to Carolina East Hosp by 7pm unresponsive. Per hospital- Fri morn she had contracted FLU. Still unresponsive. Passed Saturday Feb 8 @ 6:24pm.
