My mom was cared for at Broadway House for nearly two months during her end of days. I can’t say enough good about the care she got. The nurses, aides, and social worker were all so helpful and caring. Her doctors had very good bedside manner and explained everything going on with her simply so we could understand what was happening and I never felt like they were rushing their visit. We celebrated her and my dad’s anniversary in the family room and you could see the joy it brought to her to have us all there. Everyone and I mean everyone ( porters, housekeeping included ) were attentive and expressed their sadness after “Miss Gloria” went home to be with the Lord. She passed away peacefully with all of us around her. Our experience at Broadway House considering the circumstances was a positive one. Stacie S~
My husband was there for rehabilitation. I'm feeling sick to my stomach typing this and remembering the terrible care he received. I will start by saying that looks are deceiving. I got a five minute tour now i know why because the place is awful. My husband teeth was never brushed, they lost his laundry, patients were not being changed on time nurses seemed scared to tell the aids what to do, everybody had attitudes. I can go on and on please do not put your love one in this place because it's TERRIBLE.
My mom was here.. she had the best care & we built great relationships with the staff. I always wanted to be apart of the staff because of the great care my mom received. My passed away & I want to THANK U FOR GIVING HER THE BEST CARE.
My mother in law stayed for 2 weeks and was extremely happy with the entire staff especially Nayara de Souza CNA. My mother in law doesn’t speak English and it was very helpful that she spoke Portuguese and could communicate with her.
Worse place ever, they are very racist they treat patients accordingly to there best interest, they are definitely not prepared for mental behavioral patients at all! They contradict themselves all the time, my brother was send there n they didn’t even give him the proper treatment! They saw the family was strong n we new out protocols and they decided to send him to another place not even giving him the opportunity to see what the new adjustment of meds will do! He was only there for nine days and after we made a fit about his personal aspect n the hazardous materials n his room they decided to make a meeting n send him away. The dr wanted to give him more time to readjust his meds n the director Lina refused they had him sedated to the max but there excuse was we couldn’t collect blood but to sedate Him they were more than happy to do so!!!!!! We found him urinated from to top to the bottom that even his belt oxidated we thought it was number two but it was the belt of so much urine he had! All they could say we can’t handle him, he is out of control! So why have the name they have, no need to trick people! There is more to the story but please don’t send your loved ones over there I also saw a lot of bad conduct with other patients. Starting from the ceo, to case workers, drs, security, supervisors etc all cover them selves!!!! sadly that the good ones gotta Pay for the price. As they transferred him to university he has been lost n now no one knows anything we have a missing report on my brother between university n broadway be very careful!!!!!! This happened on sep. 30/19. Not a place to be recommended for anyone that has mayor health issues or delicate in health! I don’t want to post all the pictures I have cause I’ll never end. They neglected him in a lot of ways n they all excuses.
