This place... Let me tell you about this place. It makes me sick. Disgustingly dated and old building where these poor elderly people are forced into shared rooms separated by a filthy curtain. The beds are pathetic excuses for medical beds. They creek and struggle to sit up. Speaking of sitting up, God forbid the patients want to sit up or walk anywhere. The uncaring and unpleasant staff refuse to do even the simplest and most basic things that you would expect a CERTIFIED NURSE to help with. But no, they would much rather sit at the reception desk and play with their phones. The whole place feels like an oven. It's ludicrously hot in there. The bathroom situation is sad. They would rather you use a diaper. No they don't have a bed pan. That would be fine but then they decide to let the individuals sit and lay in their own filth for hours on end. Will they feed you? Sure right after they pull you out of bed and let you sit in a wheelchair for an hour or so. Having some pain? They got you covered. OTC Tylenol for your severe pain. Do they have anything to wash your hair with? Nope! They have some dry shampoo maybe that will help. Just my visit to this "Facility" was one of the most depressing, saddest, and sickening time I have ever experienced. If you take anything away from this review let it be this. If you want your family member to be a sad shell of their former self send them here to wither away and die in this disgusting pathetic excuse for a Facility then by all means, send your loved one to their slow and torturous death. If you truly love them then for the love of all that is holy find somewhere else. They deserve better than this pathetic excuse of a care facility. Hard to call it a care facility when the people who work there don't care.

The facility is clean with no bad smells. Staff is kind, caring, attentive and always with a smile. My mother was there for approximately 40 days. She was very happy with the quality of her care. If their services are ever needed again she would choose to go back there. The rehab was awesome as well. Would definitely recommend this facility.

Please visit your family and friends if they have to reside here. Especially if they are bed ridden. have memory loss, or can’t speak for themselves. That one star is for the maintenance crew , few CNA’s and nutritional staff at the facility. My brother spoke highly of you.

My Grandmother has been here for over a month now. In the beginning I tried to be more understanding. I feel there needs to be a change in work schedule / routines. My Grandmother has had to sit in her own pee or feces multiple times for more than an hour. The last time being last night. We tried to get her changed asking around 4:30pm. We left at 6:30 and she was not changed. She did not get changed until 9pm. She has complained about severe itching and now has a pretty bad rash down below. Hello, if we can't leave babies in wet diapers all day why should we leave our elderly. Rashes happen if your sitting around for hours in a wet diaper. The nurses will come in and turn a light off and say they will be back or they will let your CNA know and never come back. They have been told to go turn the lights off even if they didn't complete what was needed. I heard one Nurse tell a patient "you know you need to go to the bathroom before lunch. I can't help you until trays are up." She just needed to be watched walking to the bathroom. I understand that you shouldn't be cross contaminating but how long is a lunch time? Or a dinner time? So you are guaranteed to sit in feces or urine until all trays are up. But lets not forget shift change at 2 or 3. As I said some of the people here are nice. It is a routine / scheduling issue. During shift change you can here "I'm sorry, I'm about to leave I will let the next person know to come right in." I had someone get irritated at me because I saw an assistant walk by and grab the changing cart to go to another room. When she was done with that patient I asked if she was coming to help my Grandmother next. She said "I didn't know she needed changed." Then the nurse in the hall way heard. She turned to me and said "Her Lights not on. Tell her to turn her light on so we will know." My response was 30 minutes prior we had the light on and an assistant came, took my Grandmother's tray, turned the light off, and proceeded to tell me she would be back to change her. She didn't come. Which is why I went to the hallway and asked the assistant that took the changing cart which turned out to be my Grandmother's assistant. Not the assistant that turned off the light. So point blank your out of luck at shift changes and meals. If each meal time takes 2 hrs, then that is 6hrs of the day you better not poop or pee yourself. That is also 6 hours of the day there is no one in your room checking on you. I could easily see someone choking to death because they pushed the button and waited for help. By the way my Grandmother has not received an actual shower in over a month. They just spray some bath spray and wipe you down with wipes. On ocassion you will get a nurse who will use a wash cloth but rarely. They told me that every other day my Grandmother would be washed. They also said they have a shower down the hall. The CNA's also are in charge of opening the door frequently. They should only have to respond to patients needs, not the guest coming in and out. I feel that this place could be better than it is if schedules / routines were changed. The staff seems stressed and over worked. At one time I was told that 1 assistant had over or around 20 patients. I don't want to name names because most of the staff seem ok.

The building its self is quite dated. However the staff is incredible. They are loving and kind to all the patients. The OT and PT staff are gentle but very effective.
