My job is to go to facilities all day long. I’m constantly in and out of them. I just want to shout out this facility in particular!!! I have never walked into a facility and seen so many smiling faces!!! The residents AND the staff were all smiles and laughing. It was so exciting and nice to see a facility who truly cares for BOTH the staff and residents!!! South Pointe has truly changed for the absolute best!!!!! I’m loving it!!!! If you haven’t toured I would Highly recommend it!!!! You won’t be disappointed!!!
I thank God for the administration and staff of South Pointe, they helped us through the toughest time of having to put mom in for long term care! My mom has been there since the end of January 2025 and I couldn't be happier with the way they had care for her, I have been impressed by how the staff cares for all the residents there, and my mom is doing so much better than when she was living with us. I highly recommend that if you're faced with having to put someone in long-term care go to South Pointe and check them out for yourself, I don't think you'll be disappointed!
My mother was accepted into the memory care section and they assisted moving her yesterday. In the last 16 months I have not received the amount of care and communication as I have received today alone. Rusty in Admin to Lena and Justine RN's on the hall, to Valir Hospice communicating with all. I am lost for words, they understand the disease and how to approach it. Forever thankful if even for the peace I have received over the last 24 hrs. As an only child with all other family members having passed away, the stress and concern is overwhelming. Thank YOU!
South Pointe has had some challenges but like all long term care facilities they have turnovers, but it is so much better than it was a year ago. Very positive administrative staff, knowledgable business office and nursing staff. Getting much better patient care and dietary service. I would put another loved one here.. Good Job to all staff. I'm delighted to say I visit South pointe's facilities once a week, and being able to interact with the residents and staff here is an absolute pleasure. My family and I have observed the staff and their generosity, from their buying residents treats, and goodies with their own money, to bringing their own Roku remotes to use for their entertainment from their own home, to taking the time to make sure they accommodate their spiritual needs. We appreciate how they make sure the residents have fun like bingo, bowling, dances, and they accommodate different needed therapies. We hope to continue visiting the residents here for years to come and grateful to have been able to witness the love in this facility.
