NOTTINGHAM HEALTH AND REHABILITATION

My dad was recently there for rehab after a post stroke seizure. Pros: A lot of the staff were super friendly and helpful and treated my dad so kindly. He stated a few aides were pushy at times. I also had access to come and go to see my dad whenever I wanted without being questioned. The nurse practitioner, therapists, and social worker were very helpful and kind. Cons: The facility was bleak and the room my dad was in felt dirty. They had recently repainted, but the carpet was disgusting, and the room felt depressing (no pictures on the wall, only a bed, chair, table, and tv.). He was in a part of the facility with nursing home patients and he was very uncomfortable being around them as he was just there for rehab. I felt like he never got to leave his room. My dad was so unhappy there, and I’m glad he didn’t have to stay too long. He said he would refuse to go back if he had to do rehab again.

My mom was there for a week recently & had an awful experience. The NP changed her meds when she got there & then it was the weekend. She was a mess all weekend. She got there on Thursday & didn’t see PT until Monday. She was in pain and developed an infection from a previous surgery and no one had any idea. We took her to the hospital when we left.

My mother has been here two different times for rehab. She’s 97 years old . After a complete hip replacement and femur fracture, They helped her get back in her feet and back to walking with her walker. The leadership here is wonderful ready to help in anyway they can. Very accessible. The nursing and care staff is also excellent. I highly recommend this facility. This is why I chose Nottingham rehab when she fell this second time. I would recommended Nottingham to anyone.

I gave Nottingham 5 stars, but wish I could give them more! I found companionship, wonderful care and safety within this facility. The room was very comfortable and felt like home. The staff is well-trained, equipped to care for oldies like me and always ready to be of help. My care team always worked together for my best interest and needs. The healthy food menu offered many choices and was absolutely scrumptious! My Grandma came to Nottingham first for rehab, then a little later as a resident. We are so happy with the facility and with her care. Everyone is so kind and attentive and they work so well with Hospice to make sure my Grandma gets the best care and keeps her as comfortable as possible.
