LIFE CARE CENTER AT WELLS CROSSING

I stayed at Life Care Center in July 2025. As a 51-year-old woman, I didn't anticipate a 19-day rehab stay. The overall experience was good. While there were a few minor issues, the nurses and CNAs were nice and attentive, nothing significant in that regard. My primary concern was the poor quality of the food; the only palatable option was the grilled cheese. Thankfully, I had family and friends who brought me meals almost daily and I feel bad for those who don't have that support. While I didn't encounter any roaches as mentioned in previous reviews, we definitely had an ant problem and they were large ones. My roommate and I killed several and one was even in my bed, which the OT lady also witnessed. We reported it and maintenance only sprayed inside the room but it didn't resolve the issue. I understand this isn't a five-star hotel but they need to improve maintenance, provide newer linens and offer better food options.

I was visiting my brother in the facility. It was very clean and nice. I was impressed with the sitting rooms for larger families to visit at the same time. The ice cream shop was nice. They were popping corn there at the shop as well. I liked everything to include areas to go outside.

LCC at Wells Crossing is a God send for my mother. Employees go above and beyond to make her life pleasant, from the director to the cleaning staff. It's difficult to see a loved one unable to care for herself, but LCC folks give her everything needed, with sincere friendliness and professionalism.

Life Care Center at Wells Crossing has been a true blessing for our family. From the very beginning, Allison, Amanda, and Charlene worked quickly and with such dedication to make sure our loved one was admitted smoothly. Their professionalism, kindness, and genuine compassion gave us peace of mind during a stressful time. It’s clear they love what they do, and it shows in the way they treat families. Charlene Crawford was the absolute best!! Helped with transfer and continued to help once my family member was in rehab with them. Great communication and obvious care! Ms Crawford went above and beyond to provide help, I think we are best friends now!!!
