Stratford Commons Rehabilitation and Health Care Center

Hello and good morning to start I’d like to say the community was just breath taking I walked in to the staff being goofy with the residents I just couldn’t imagine why they wouldn’t be happy with the skinny gentleman man doing the exercises and activities. As I was walking past to go visit my friend with there family the staff was very polite and was always greeting the resident and asking how they were feeling I was amazed on how respectful and caring there positivity for the residents was just breath taking but while I was in the room I honest had the best experience and conversation it was the maintenance man Erick or Derek but he was just unbelievably kinda and sweet he was patching the wall that had some damage from the bed and his hospitality was unbelievable along side that he was so respectful and proactive and he was already done with his work as he was talking and I didn’t even notice. Then the resident mentioned how much he loves the maintenance man because of his dark humor and positive personality and the fact they talk military with each other is also a great thing to watch. I honestly have to say that I’ve never had that kind of experience in a senior home I truly do believe that the staff is amazing but that maintenance man was a delight to watch him interact with the staff was also just WOW!! It’s like the staff is consumed by there work he walks by and says something funny then you should see how the staff faces light up and start laughing he really is a bright person and a blessing to have in this facility and I hope that he finds this review and I apologize to have taken some photos of him while he was working

My stay at Stratford was a positive one. The staff is what makes this place so good. My nurses and CNA’s were always willing to take their time with me when I needed them. The dietary staff in the second commons was incredible and friendly. Derek from maintenance was kind enough to raise my wheelchair so it fit me better and we were able to have a fantastic conversation while he was doing it. When I had an issue, the directors were right on it. They wrote a grievance and moved the staff member that I had an issue with then they kept following up to make sure things were going well. I saw the PT and OT staff always working with someone and they were friendly as they helped you improve. I can honestly say that the staff was always moving to take care of everyone. If you saw someone sitting then they were doing the notes that they had to do. One day, someone didn’t show up for their shift in the kitchen but Dee (CNA) stepped up to get the food from the other kitchen and the rest of the CNA’s got right to work by making the plates so everyone could be fed. This is just one example of how well the team works together to take care of the people staying there.

Stratford Commons Rehab has been such a blessing. The staff here truly care about their residents, and it shows in everything they do. The facility is always clean, welcoming, and focused on making residents feel comfortable and cared for. I want to give special recognition to ADON Kim. She is absolutely amazing! Kim is compassionate, approachable, and always willing to go the extra mile. Her dedication and positive energy make such a difference not only for the residents but also for their families. Knowing she is part of the team gives us so much peace of mind. I would highly recommend Stratford Commons Rehab to anyone searching for quality care and a supportive environment for their loved ones.
