My experience in Ivy Hill has a pleasant one, I felt welcomed from day one and the staff is amazing. I had the privilege of meeting some wonderful people and the food is good which I was surprised I would give it an A+ if they put a little more in it 😁 Shout out to Avry Tamika Shamika Dee Sashay Ms.Tracy Sharreta Carlos Lisa Karen Shonda John Nikkia Latoya Tamara and so many more members of Ivy Hill I'm sorry to those I did not mention but I want to thank you all for your treatment and for the memories. From the moment we walked through the doors at Ivy Hills, the administrator went above and beyond to make sure our loved one received the best care possible. We were greeted with warmth, every question was answered with patience, and we felt like family right away. Throughout the stay, the staff was always attentive, checking in regularly to ensure comfort and that our family felt supported. From admission all the way through to discharge, the level of care and compassion never wavered. We are truly grateful for the dedication and kindness shown. Ivy Hills is lucky to have such an exceptional team, and I highly recommend this facility to anyone in need of quality care.

I have seen several ratings for this facility rankng from 3 - 5. It's no way this place should ever have any type of ranking besides a zero (I've given this place a rating of one because a rating is required to post the review). This place should be condemned as it is old and dilapidated. It is the most deplorable nursing facility I've ever encountered. Upon walking into the facility, you are smacked with a pungent smell, and it carriers throughout the facility. As I realize some patients aren't able to go to the restroom without assistance, it still does not have to smell the way it does. Some of the staff is over friendly, where one aide tapped a patient on her backside talking about you have a big booty. The patient only asked for assistance in cleaning herself. My family member and her roommate feel unsafe where they will only sleep when they are together. The cup in one of the pictures are the cups they use for the patients beverages. The cup hkkds approximately 3oz. People be aware, this place is not fit for an animal and if you have a loved one currently here I encourage you to seek out another facility. August 3, 2025 On my initial post I spoke about an incident that my sisters roommate experienced where she stated an aide tapped her buttocks. After an investigation was launched that roommate recanted her statement and claims it was a misunderstanding. In regards to my other issues the administrating staff is working on resolving/addressing the other issues.

Ivy Hill is absolutely exceptional! The wonderful nursing staff are compassionate, attentive, and treat residents like family. The facility is spotless, the activities are engaging, and my family member is truly thriving here. The DON of the facility is amazing and leading a great team! We have complete peace of mind knowing she is in such caring hands. This isn’t just a nursing home — it’s a place where love, dignity, and compassion live every day.

I can’t say enough good things about Ivy Hill Nursing Home. From the moment we walked in, the Director of Nursing, Sashay, was absolutely amazing. She greeted us with warmth and made me feel completely at ease during my mother’s intake process. Her professionalism, kindness, and genuine care truly set the tone for our entire experience. The nursing team is phenomenal — there wasn’t a single thing my mother needed that they couldn’t provide. In fact, they went above and beyond, anticipating her needs and adding thoughtful touches that showed just how much compassion they have for their residents. The level of care here is unmatched, and I’m deeply grateful for the love and dedication shown to my mother.
