I have been visiting here the past few weeks and have been very impressed with the staff. Everyone greets us with a smile and are so friendly! It seems like a very happy place with employees who care. Paula and Denise are 2 CNA's who are a standout! They go above and beyond to help with anything needed. I'm very thankful to know they are helping care for my friend.

I’m writing this review out of complete disgust and heartbreak regarding the treatment my grandmother received at this facility. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere has an eerie, uncomfortable feeling. No one smiles, greets you, or even acknowledges your presence. It feels cold and unwelcoming as if residents and families are an inconvenience rather than people in need of care. On Tuesday morning around 9 AM, my grandmother called my mother crying terrified because she was bleeding and no one seemed to know why. My mother immediately called and spoke with the floor manager, Danay, whose bedside manner would make anyone cringe. Danay explained that when the CNA changed my grandmother, they noticed blood but had no sense of urgency whatsoever. Instead of calling for medical help, they put an incontinence diaper on her and tucked her back in as if nothing serious was happening. Danay told my mother that they needed to draw blood and that the tech “would be there any moment.” When we arrived about 30 minutes later, the tech still hadn’t shown up and my grandmother was still actively bleeding. We demanded to speak to Danay again, and that’s when she completely changed her story, claiming the tech was now three hours away. There was still no urgency, no compassion, no action just excuses. When my mother asked for clarity, Danay snapped, “What would you like me to do differently?” in a condescending, dismissive tone. The answer should have been obvious to any medical professional send her to the hospital immediately. But instead, they left her there suffering and frightened until we intervened. When she was finally taken to the hospital, she required a blood transfusion due to the amount of blood she had lost. The complete lack of empathy, urgency, and basic medical judgment displayed by this staff is unacceptable and dangerous. No family should ever have to experience this level of neglect or disrespect when trusting a facility to care for their loved one. I would never recommend this nursing home to anyone. Families deserve better and residents deserve to be treated with dignity, compassion, and professionalism. What happened to my grandmother was pure neglect, and I pray no other family has to go through the same nightmare.

My experience at Palm Garden of Port St. Lucie was excellent. The staff was compassionate, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to care for their residents. The facility was clean, well-managed, and had a welcoming atmosphere. You can tell they genuinely care about the people they serve. I’m very thankful for the quality of care and professionalism shown throughout my visit.

As a retired nurse for a fact I know I can be very judgmental. At the hospital I just wanted to return home but I have been here for a week now at this center and I have nothing but great things to say now. From upper management to floor employees, very compassionate and caring , respectful and very helpful. This place is clean, the food can just use some improvement.
