RIVERSIDE VALLEY OF JOURNEY

I have nothing but positive reviews. The care that my uncle received was exceptional. The director, Cameron, was always available if I had any questions or concerns. The care staff did a great job to keep him clean, fed, comfortable and as happy as possible being away from his home. The facility was clean and the staff welcoming. Chrissy in the business office went above and beyond to help me navigate the whole process. We had a horrible experience with a Genesis facility so I am thankful Riverside had a spot for my uncle.

Nothing good to say at all. Just going to give it to God and let him take care of it. It looks as though they’re only posting the most positive comments. Not the ones where individuals are voicing their outright concerns about this place.

My friend’s mother has been in this facility and the staff has been very helpful. We definitely appreciate all the staff Tia was instrumental in expediting our care with the oncologist and hospice care. Janis the night nurse, Brittany and all of the caring nurses at the front desk have been very quick to offer help. Also, the OT and PT were great with the exercises and fixing her hair. Thanks so much.

If there was a 0 rating this facility would be it. Loved one was a patient there for rehab after knee surgery. The rehab was non productive and very minimal. Wound dressing changed once and not observed during entire stay. Room was changed without family notification. Discharge planning nonexistant other than phone call day before discharge which was on a saturday. When you asked staff a question they always said.they were new and their manager was gone. Useless. Said they would transport patient home. Day of discharge sent potty chair by transport and said daughter would have to pick him up which patient is not ambulating and has stairs to enter home. Did not offer any options or assistance with this dilemma either. Very poor customer service and no compassion for patient outcome. Extremely disappointed with this experience. Steer clear of this facility.

Riverside saved my dad's life. When the old people you care about run into problems, family members will do downright evil things to walk away with money. If you care about your family, I hope the place they need to recover has a staff as attentive, experienced, and dedicated to patient healing as the good folks at Riverside. They will keep you informed so that you can continue to fight for the people you love the most when the worst parts of humanity show themselves. They will be your shoulder to cry on when you need support. Can't say enough how much they value patient safety. If a member of your family comes to Riverside, reach out to this caring, protective staff. The folks at Riverside want to know who cares and they're sharp enough to tell who only cares about money.
