First off the care staff especially the nurses were great, it’s the business office that fails horribly. My mother was in this facility for a little over a week and unfortunately passed away. 3 days after her passing I get a call from a woman in the front office telling me I owed them a little bit over nineteen hundred dollars for my moms room and board. Talk about cold hearted. My mother just barely passed away and I received this phone call? She told me that my mom’s Medicare advantage plan didn’t cover room and board. If that is the truth at least file a claim and wait for a denial. I would rather have them do that than try to get a refund of my money If the insurance happened to pay. Demanding money without providing a detailed invoice is poor business practice at best. I am the type of person that pays my bills on time but I am not dumb enough to hand over money to someone just by a phone call. The cold heartedness still just amazes me.

Editing to add: Before you take your loved one here, ASK THEM ABOUT THEIR DRUG PROBLEM. This facility recently had a death due to meth that was sold by a patient to another patient. The dead person was alone outside for several hours before anyone even noticed they were missing. The only positive thing I have to say is that the nurses and CNAs, are doing their best under incredibly difficult conditions. They are hardworking and genuinely care—but they are overextended and understaffed, which creates an unsafe environment. The turnover rate among floor staff is high, which makes me question their ability to ensure consistent, quality care. Separate from that, the leadership situation is chaotic. To my knowledge, there have been at least three different Directors of Nursing within the last year alone, and it's unclear why this key role cannot be retained. This revolving door contributes to a lack of accountability and ongoing disorganization. The facility administrator is equally concerning—he says all the right things but rarely follows through. He obviously has his own agenda, and he seems completely out of touch with both patients and staff. Most alarming is the prevalent drug activity inside the facility. It’s common knowledge among staff, residents and families that illegal drugs are being bought, sold, and used on site. Despite frequent police presence, nothing ever changes. There have also been thefts and assaults, which are ignored or covered up instead of being dealt with appropriately. Basic medical supplies and medications are frequently out of stock, and overall communication is poor. The building smells like urine, the food is subpar (both quality and quality), and scheduled activities are minimal. To make matters worse, several residents here clearly require memory care, but this facility is not designed or equipped to handle those needs—putting both them and others at risk.

Worst place ever!! My grandmother is currently there and her health is just escalating downwards!!! They have her in a room where her phone doesn't even work and I have to call the front desk to get a hold of her. They always mess with her medications. She has lots of health problems and they're not willing to help her. My grandma calls me multiple times a day crying because she pushes the buttons for the nurse to come help her and it takes them hours to come help. This place needs to get shut down. I'm moving her soon. Do not bring your loved ones here!!!!

The place is terrible endless 3 weeks I've been here they've switched over the toilet paper from nice toilet paper that was a cheap toilet paper that dissolves in your hand. They switched over the paper towel dispensers that paper towels that would wipe up spells the paper towels that just don't wipe anything up and then tear up as you're trying to use it. The food is the most horrible food here the bread tastes like rubber all of the food is not real food is the cheapest possible food they can buy I've lost over 12 lbs and a 3-week I've been here so this is I would I would not recommend this place to anybody
