If I could give zero stars I would. Terrible place. Mind you my grandfather has dementia while reading this. Does not follow instructions given from hospital on easy to chew foods or needs assistance to eat etc. We would have to take shifts there to feed my grandfather when it was on his discharge paperwork from the hospital that he need assistance and they could care less. They would leave him in a wheelchair 24 a day basically because he was “to much to handle” So they can watch him better. Which caused sores on his back and butt. Which also made him not able to walk due to being in the wheel chair for that long that he forgot how to. Physical therapy barely tried with him because they would have him so drugged he would sleep in the wheel chair all day and when therapy would come in they would make excuses saying “he’s sleeping” “ he didn’t wanna participate” They weren’t help feeding or helping him with drinks. The one night we walked in to him sitting at the nurses station mind you in a pile of piss that you could smell along with the nurse sitting in front of him (no desk just in a chair in plain view of it sitting directly in front of him because he needed to be “watched” ) with piss soaked pants and diaper with a piss soaked blanket thrown on top of him. Mind you an AID/NURSE kept whispering under her breath that “this should be documented” We don’t know if it was or wasn’t sadly. I feel bad for the people in there that their family’s aren’t involved cause unfortunately unless you have someone there that will stand up for you or be there 10+ hours a day that’s how you will get treated. I do not recommend this place. Wasn’t doing his meds right either. Very sad place. Things need to change here. All these locations need to be looked into on how they care for these people.

My mother was recently here for almost a month recovering and there aren’t enough great things to say about the place. Wonderful nurses and very clean facility. The social worker Melissa was great to deal with. Highly recommend if you need care for a family member on the mend!

Don't send your family member here in the name of Jesus.... They will sit in their own urine being ignored for a significant time. If your family member has any neurological issues, this facility is not safe. I pray that someone reads this and understands how important it is not to send your family member here. They will not be treated with care all of the time. I wish I would have read the reviews before I sent my mother there I would have done everything I could to send her somewhere else. My mother didn't even know where she was at and there was no neurological testing done unless I requested it. My mother was in pain for a long period of time and there was no one to look at her knee for pain unless I requested it. This has been hell and I don't wish this on anyone. I'm still waiting for neurological testing and for her to see an orthopedic doctor for her knee. It's basically impossible to talk to the doctor. I've only been able to reach the doctor once and she's been in there for months. When I spoke with the nurses they said they barely see the doctor themselves 😳. My family's been taking pictures and recordings. I will post them soon. Good luck with reaching the social worker “Amber”. My mom is miserable there. I know she won’t survive long if she stays there but she can’t walk and I can’t transport her alone. I’ve called many times… they don’t care.

A family member recently went to Allied Skilled for rehab after a fall. They were attentive to her medical needs and her therapy was good. But her cognitive issues declined significantly and we had her discharged early. Aides were pleasant overall, but did not answer call bells timely enough for toileting. They also did not attach the call buzzer anywhere on her person, but left it on the bed after getting her up and dressed. After a restless night and overall poor sleep, she tried to get up on her own. Instead of dealing with the eve issue, they sat her in front of the nurse station during the day. Only because we insisted, they agreed to a toilet bed check every hour over night. This is a huge facility and almost no one walks independently or with a walker or cane. Everyone was in a wheelchair. Ironic that they invest heavily in PT yet give capable patients no independence. Most patients were lifeless, unstimulated, chaired to prevent falls I was told, or in bed most of the day. There were no chairs in the dining room as everyone was wheeled there. Despite cognitive issues, my family member was beyond upset for the other patients. Our family was very disappointed in Allied Skilled.

If I could give 0☆, I would. My husband was sent to Allied skilled nursing for rehab. He wasn't there long, only 4 days. He was quite ill and passed away. In my grief I wasn't in my right mind to drive to Allied right away to pick up my husband's belongings. Believe me I tried a few times and couldn't bring myself to drive down that road. A little over 3 months later I called about my husband's things. I was told numerous times that a family member came on the day he passed awayand picked up some if his things and told them to donate the rest. I asked several times if they ment the funeral home. They insisted it was a family member. They said they sent a letter, that I never received. Low and behold, they called, the suitcase and his Cpap machine were found. His belongs and a clock were gone. Even his dentures. I went and picked up the suitcase and Cpap machine. They replaced the click. I spoke with, I think was the social worker from the 4th floor. She told me they can only hold things a certain amount of time. I told her if a letter was sent and no one came, wouldn't the right thing to do was pick up the phone and call to remind there's their loved ones belongings. But no, they wait, and then pilfer through and their belongings. When I told the social worker, or whoever, that I wanted to check any papers that had to be signed to take any belongings. She told me no one came and took anything or said to donate the rest. So here's the bottom line. I was deliberately lied to, numerous times and she didn't have an answer. Her excuse was, she was on vacation when my husband was there. Had no answer why no one called. No one can give me any answers and where my husband's things are. And to add insult to injury all the tubing, hoses and masks that were with his Cpap machine were gone. So if your loved one passes away at Allied, make sure you or someone goes to gather their belongings because they won't have the compassion to reach out to remind you to pick them up. They lie, I was lied to and no one batted an eye. Who does that?!? Thank God I had presence of mine to tell the funeral home his wedding ring was on his finger and make sure it's there. Otherwise they probably would have pilfered that too. No apology, no compensation. They kept the suitcase, why not put his thing on there? Do they think maybe there may have been some things special the family would want. Now their gone. No letter, no call, everything gone. Was continually lied to and got no answers. Just, we can only keep things for so long. We'll, don't call, so someone could get them. They are terrible, no compassion. I will nevercuse any of Allied's services, ever.
