BARBOUR COURT NURSING AND REHABILITATION CENTER

Thank you Barbour Court for a wonderful experience. I had the pleasure of being an intern with the Activities Department. These ladies are completely awesome. But before I talk about them, I would like to talk about the complete staff. This building is warm. The employees are very inviting to greetings and conversation. The receptionists are sweet and pleasant when you walk. That always greet you with a smile. They have a wonderful relationship with the residents (consumers). Mrs.A from dietary has an awesome humorous personality. She came and played Bingo and was a blast at making the residents laugh. She can maneuver the prize cart perfectly around all obstacles. I had the pleasure of working with Ms.E frequently. She's young and ambitious. She plans on going to college soon. She is so sweet to the residents and tries her best to make sure she stops to conversate with them. I hope she continues to move forward. She will be awesome in that field of work. Mrs.B is laid back with a boatload of ideas for the residents. She has so many wonderful ideas that she really needs to write down. Ms. S is an artistic fenom with her designs. She can take an idea and make it totally amazing. I didn't get to work with her but I know it would've been awesome to see her brain spin and those magical hands work. This is a warm friendly place. Stop by and visit the Activities Department to introduce yourself. They would love to meet you. They also need your help. There are so many avenues to help. You can become a volunteer, donate or become a sponsor. The Activities Department is a crucial part of keeping members of our communities feeling encouraged, engaged and helps keep them moving. This is the department that throws parties, plays games and takes the residents on outings in the community. Remember these are our family members and neighbors.

My Mom is in her 80s and back home now. She seemed very happy most of her time at this place. Problems did arise that you would never want for your loved one. (Like at any nursing/rehabilitation center) but you could feel a real response in trying to fix the problems. Even at time changing staff around to accommodate the problem. You feel like they listen and do the best they can. They had many activities that my Mom loved and participated in! I want to say thank you for her stay. This is the first rehabilitation center I said this to. Props to the people that work there. Management and staff!

My grandmother was at Barbour Court for several months while we got our home ready for her to come home. I want to say how wonderful the Social Worker, Victoria is. My family and I loved her. I can’t express how great and patient she was. Staff communicated great with me and I appreciate everything they done for my grandmother.

Exceptional Memory Care at Barbour Court Barbour Court Nursing and Rehab has truly transformed under its new executive team. If you're reading reviews older than two years, keep in mind they reflect the previous management — the current team has made a world of difference. My loved one is in the Spark Unit (Memory Care), and I can’t say enough wonderful things about the care he receives. Natasha, who leads the unit, and her team treat my father like family. They are compassionate, attentive, and always keep the lines of communication open. It gives me peace of mind knowing he’s in such capable and caring hands. Cheslie in Finance/Billing is also a standout — incredibly efficient, knowledgeable, and always ready to help with any questions. The Spark Unit is a warm, welcoming environment where residents are treated with dignity and respect. The staff go above and beyond to ensure each individual’s needs are met, and it shows in the smiles and comfort of the residents. If you're looking for a memory care facility that truly cares, I highly recommend Barbour Court’s Spark Unit. The difference in leadership and care quality is night and day.

My brother is getting special care there and I’m so very grateful and pleased with it the staff takes really great care of him the nurses are amazing the building is very clean and smells so good when I enter the facility from beginning to end. The staff really cares about their patients. Truly ten pounds has been lifted off my shoulders and heart and the most beautiful thing about it my brother loves his room each and every time I see the coordinaters walking, working and checking on the patients and everyone is so nice and friendly I really love Barbour court !!! I highly recommend and appreciate them sincerely.
