Update to ask why this facility responds to complaints with the same copy/paste response? You can’t legitimately respond to my very specific complaints? And now they are pushing our hospice provider out who we have an incredible relationship with and they actually advocate for my best friend. After a week in this facility I must say I am very disappointed even after lodging my concerns and getting a response from the Director of nursing. I wanted to wait to do this rating to give them the chance to address all my concerns so here we are. We moved my best friend from assisted living to here because she needed the higher level of care. We have not witnessed that higher level of care and actually feel less care is given than she received in assisted living. I did feel my concerns were received and understood by the social worker but as mentioned above, not the director of nursing. None of the lack of care was addressed except to give an excuse that with family visiting the employees are conflicted because some families don’t want their visits interrupted. They never asked and we never gave them any indication we didn’t want them to do their job. They now say they will check on her every two to three hours. Shouldn’t they have already been doing that? We will see, but so far I am so very disappointed. I paid a lot of attention to their ratings and thought going in, this would be a great place for her. I am fair so if things improve I will give credit there. But it still leaves the question - why did I have to complain in the first place?

Terry was there once before and he was glad to know he was going back there for some rehab. Physical therapy is great there and the food and the nursing care even to the sweet birds in the bird cage. Everyone social service case manager facility is nice in a very caring knowledgeable professional

My father was moved there for barely 48 hours from mercy hospital and within those 48 hours he came down with cellulitis, and pneumonia. He hadnt even been there for a few hours when the facility was calling my father's emergency contacts wanting payment. Im so glad my father was sent back to mercy hospital and I was able to place him elsewhere for his rehab and recovery process. All this place was concerned about was receiving their co payment of $40 for a 48 hour stay and they also tried saying that my father had used his 21 days that his Medicare plan alots for, in my opinion to milk the full co payment from my father who is on a fixed income. Thank god for the case worker at mercy who helped me get the situation under control and figured out. Then quail creek had the gall to say "we won't take him back without receiving the full $400 some odd dollars co payment up front". NOPE. I told the case worker at mercy ABSOLUTELY NOT, that my father was NOT going back to a place that lacked empathy, proper communication skills, and only cared about money. If you had a good experience with them, good for you, but I for one will NEVER allow another family member to be sent there ever again.
