I just had a care plan meeting with the social worker and nurse of this nursing home yesterday. 1/24/2025. My family had several issues with the care my father has been receiving during his time here. We wanted to address our concerns and had some questions for the staff. We have came in to pick my dad up multiple times and the floor is always sticky with urine and usually the bathroom is a mess. We have come in and there has been blood droplets on the floor on several occasions. My dad has told me in the past that some of staff speak to him rudely and treat him unkind. During the meeting the staff was very understanding and sympathetic of our current issues with the nursing home. (Alyssa, the social worker) was very helpful and kind and listened to what we had to say and I feel like she was genuine. I told the staff there that I would be picking my dad up today (1/25/25) and I asked if there was going to be any mediations needed for him during our time out of the nursing home. There was not. So I got him ready and we left. On the way back to the nursing home I could smell urine and realized he had an accident. I dropped him off in his room and got him situated and I went down to the nurse station to ask if they could help him get changed (as he has had several strokes and needs assistance) the med tech, Tashina told me where his pants where at, I asked her if they could do it, (as I am his daughter and I know my dad would not want me to be the one to help.) I would have no problem assisting my dad with anything ever if I knew it wouldn’t hurt his pride. Then she snapped at me started yelling at me in front of my 5 year old daughter, all the elderly folks in the nursing home halls, and the staff. She yelled and told me they had been looking for my dad all morning and they didn’t know where he was during lunch. Okay, it was now 2:30pm. She told me I had to check him out with his nurse. (I get that now, he’s his own guardian and I told his team yesterday I would be by between 9-930 am to pick him up) she continuously yelled at me while I kindly told her that I was sorry and I would definitely make sure next time to check in with the nurse down the hall. It was a misunderstanding and now that she brought to my attention that it was a safety issue I completely understand that and I will make sure that it doesn’t happen again. I politely asked her not to speak to me the way was. And in front of my daughter and she continued on and on being hateful and shouting. I could feel myself getting worked up and just wanted the situation to end because it was escalating. I started to walk away and I asked her for her name which she also yelled at me. If this staff feels like it is profession or okay to treat a family member of someone like this at her place of work I can’t imagine how she treats the people in the nursing home, especially the ones that don’t have family. I didn’t even want to leave my dad there and if I didn’t have a full time job he would be moving in with me in an instant. I will be requesting to speak to her management with Monday staff arrives. I will also be reporting this to the social work and the state. This was totally uncalled for. It was a mistake that could have been handled so much differently. It was disgusting how she treated me and especially in front of vulnerable people that had to witness that. I truly feel terrible. I will be looking for another nursing home from this incident alone, aside from the other issues of the care that’s provided to my dad. Also if they were so concerned about where he was at and yet they never called to let me to let me know they didn’t know where he was? So if he really was gone out of the nursing home at what point would they start notifying his family? I hope anyone that is planning on sending their family member reconsiders.

Very dirty in the room, bathroom had pee & poop all over. They have bad bedside manner & treated my daughter & I very rudely. My daughters dad says they treat him poorly with the exception of a couple employees he likes. I believe it was tineesha yelling at my daughter in front of my granddaughter over something my daughter knew nothing about! Very unprofessional! My daughters dad is never taken care of properly & room smells like pee & they don't bath him unless they know ahead of time that he's getting a visit. He deserves better care than he is getting so hopefully he will get into another place or staff steps it up there.

Extremely unprofessional staff and very uncaring! I feel sorry for the old people that live here. Don’t put a loved one here if you expect them to be taken care of at all. They will yell at you if you ask for them to do anything even infront of children.

Today I had the opportunity to meet a very dear lady at the Wilson's Creek Nursing Center. I'm was my first time to the facility and my first time to meet my boyfriend' s Mother. The building was not fancy, it seemed clean with only a slight odor. we were immediately greeted and asked to sign the guest book. When we told the staff member Terry who we were there to see, she promptly began to make tell us individual facts about his mother. These included General Health, a brief overview of her activities for the past few days, how todays compared to recent days and very detailed info about today. We were taken to his mother's module, where April filled in details about her patient. Everyone was friendly and upbeat and very Professional. The staff was attentive as well as respectful. It is a hopeful atmosphere. The staff maintained HIPAA standards. The visit was Great! His Mom is a lady who has seen many things. She is kind and humble. It was such a relief to know the staff is watching closely and they reach out to their patients. This facility could use a bit of updating and that is what put the rating to a 4. Thank you Wilson's Creek! We will see you soon.

The nursing staff at Wilson s creek is wonderful. They have state of the art charting. The nursing home never smells like a nursing home because the staff is so kind and timely. As far as the other uglier reviews they don't know what they have til it's missing. The place I came from smelled terrible and was overran by cockroaches and spiders.
