This facility has been good to my mom..She csn be a hard pill to swallow at times. Only tip is to have a warmer that keeps eggs warm n plated for residents when they serve them their meal..( who really likes cold eggs) ..Short staff e erywhere but I appreciate the attention they can give ( outside their normal job) to my mom and other residents.
I am always pleased with the condition the facility and the friendly staff. The facility is always clean and the staff is always professional, friendly and welcoming.
The professionals at Staunton Health and Rehab demonstrated compassion, empathy, and patience with me as I try to make a challenging decision. As I need time finding the right place for my mother, they were understanding and open to all my questions and needs. When I left, my anxiety was gone. They were very beneficial and am so glad to meet good people.
My 103 year old mother could not have gotten better care. I was informed about every medication change and any other care she needed. Every time I called I was connected with her nurse quickly. I visited almost every day and various times of day and never found a problem. All the workers were polite and helpful starting with administration all the way through the complete staff. They kept close contact with the doctor. All of them; hard workers. I thank them for doing a job that I could not have done myself.
My Mom is 101 and has spent over 90 days being cared for at Staunton Health and Rehab. The staff is great from the maintenance crew to the Administrative employees. I'm very happy that we chose this facility for her.
