I'm a retired hospital nurse (1999) and this is some of my complaints. The staff are very inexperienced, work short (especially at night). My wife spent 2 terrible, and nasty conditions for 2 weeks. I had to come in almost every night to help my wife to the bathroom because no one answered her call light. When I got there, there were no one at the nursing station and there were several call lights going off. I attempted to contact the nursing station several times with no answer! The facility is very dirty and run down, paint is chipping, floors are dirty. The staff is always working short staffed and the residents have to bear that as well as pay for staying there. My wife was on a renal diet, yet she got a regular and nasty tray almost every meal. My complaints went unresolved. Very poor patient care! Thank God I got her transferred out of this nasty place!

This facility needs to be closed due to Poor care of patients. Patients are placed in the day area and left unattended while a TV is on like it’s some type of babysitter of the patients who aren’t even alert to watch it. Patients personal items go missing. Patients are not being given their physical therapy in a more frequent basis to help them gain strength after having a stroke. Patients are heavily medicated. Patients are given shots and not informing family members of what they’ve been given or why they were given. Patients are not being cleaned on a daily basis. Food left on their face and in their facial hair for days. Patients are not being turned or adjusted when they are in bed to prevent bed sores. The CNA and nurses ignore your concerns and complain that they are short handed. After the passing away of my family member in January 2025, I received a horrible notice that he will be kicked out of the hallmark facility due to nonpayment due to his extended stay which by the way was approved by his insurance before he passed away due to their negligence! We are appalled at the lack of empathy and sympathy this facility has demonstrated during this stressful time for events they caused to our family member. How dare you send us a letter 5 months after is passing! Your facility as I stated before needs be be shut down !

My father has been here for almost 2 weeks and we’re looking for a new facility. It is extremely outdated and in need on renovations— my dad’s bed is broken and has been since he’s been here. The staff…. Eh. There’s a nurse named Karen and a tech named James that were very attentive, kind and patient. But on the other hand there’s an unpleasant nurse named Nurse Smalls who is LOUD, rude , uses a very nasty tone with the patients and family and has no business caring for people. The overall environment is not one you’d want to have your loved one in. For lack of better words, it’s GHETTO.

My mom was a patient here for 5 months. She initially came for rehab but due to her needing therapy/care a little longer she ended up staying. They treated my mom very well and I truly believe that the therapy she received is why she was able to be discharged to a assisted living facility! She wasn't able to walk when she was admitted and she was discharged walking with a walker!! I am so thankful and appreciative to everyone..the therapy department, the nurses, the social worker, the business office, the front receptionist, the house keeping staff...EVERYONE was wonderful!!🥰
