A great facility overall! Their staff is caring and compassionate for their residents and their families. Meeting so many needs from their secured dementia unit to the skilled care recovery from a hospital stay, I know as a guardian my wards are always in capable hands when I choose this facility for their home away from home. *Rochelle is a blessing! *
Over the last several years, I have had nothing but positive experiences with the care staff and management at The Colony. Kind, responsive, communicative, caring employees that truly want what is best for those who live at this facility. The Colony is one of my favorite Summit County buildings.
This is one of the worse Nursing Homes in the state of Ohio. The picture's on the web site are a gross misrepentation of what the resident rooms look like. My mother was attacked by other clients and caught COVID-19. She has clothes on that do not belong to her The facility smells like feces and urine. Do not bring your loved one here. They wil have transitioned before getting assistance from the staff
My experience with this place was horrible. It took forever after pushing the call light before someone came in to help. I was there for quite awhile and never seen 5ohysicaltherapist until the day I decided to leave. There was one nurse or assistant by I can't recall her name but she worked first shift blonde hair. The food wasdecent.the to wàs in a private room which was very nice except for the air conditioner.it would click all night long.loud enough that it kept me from sleeping third shift 2ere horrible when I pushed the call light and asked for help to get to the bathroom,was asked just how many times a night do you have to use the restroom said with an irritated tone
I don't have a family member that resides there. But when I called to get information, Kelly was such an incredible help for me. She sent me in the right direction of the care my family member needs. She gave me phone numbers of people that could actually help me. And even offered her personal cell phone. In case I still was frustrated in finding help for my family member. This is a person that actually cares about their job. That's top notch!!
