We the family of our loved one are very upset with the level of care that this facility has given our family member from the day he was transferred into this rehabilitation hospital for care from a senseless automobile accident. No fault of his own I may add. They did not have medicine for his care, they were not prepared for his level of care needed for the trama he had sustained. They do not bathe him well. The meals arrive late like almost 7pm. Their has been occasional forget to bring him a tray as he is confined to a bed non weight bearing on his legs. The third shift does not answer his call light for medicine or bathroom needs. One night this week they did get him transferred to the port a toilet and just left him there. He then transferred himself without help back to the wheelchair. Until someone finally answered the call light to put him back in the bed. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE TO ANY PATIENT'S. We feel if people do not call and report these things to staff he would not get proper care. What happens to people who have no family or advocates. (Zero 🌟) There are a few nurses and CNA that care and the rehabilitation folks have been awesome. Hire people management that desire to help people not just a paycheck...

3rd shift sucks...that is all...not answering call lights...leaving patients on the commode...leaving patients to transfer themselves to a wheelchair or bed...or just plain out leaving them to rot...and lets talk about when my husband was dropped and hurt when someone didnt know how to use the hoyer lift...also they don't get bathed very often man...once a week...is gross...do better staff...and I do realize 3rd shift doesn't do the bathing...well it shouldn't be pushed onto the next person until nobody does it...I was giving him bed baths when he first got there...not a single other staff gave him one...and let's talk about weekends...why would you send someone to a care facility from a hospital on a weekend when no main staff are available on weekends...I also do realize some staff there actually care about patients...and treat them as such...they bust their butt working to get things done...but when my husband is treated this way...it makes me wonder what happens that is not talked about...if these things openly happen daily...what other things are happening that should be a concern...I am not happy at all...do better staff...

My father stayed here for five days and went so far down hill from their horrible care that he wound up back in the hospital. They brag about a gourmet menu on their website. They fed him a piece of hard bread with pizza sauce on it at almost 9:00 in the evening and called it "Pizza Surprise". Sometimes they didn't bring him food at all. The staff was cruel and uncaring. This is not a place for your loved ones to get healthy. I feel bad for the patients there that have nobody to advocate for them. Please read the one star reviews here and believe them, I wish I had.

My mother is a new resident and my husband and I are so happy how attentive, caring and supportive the nurses and staff are . The facility is beautiful and they work hard and take good care of my mother and her needs . I love they have social hr and events for the residents as well and they really try hard and help the residents feel welcome and encourage them to come to the events even if it’s just to sit and be apart of it . They are especially kind and caring when it comes to my mother dementia needs and issues . They call us right away if there are changes , issues ect. And I also appreciate how kind and patient they are when I call daily and they take the time to talk with me regarding my questions and concerns and give comfort as well and reassurance. Thank you so much Medilodge of Tawas City .😊❤️

The workers are nice but my husband has been delayed in his recovery due to their neglect. They took his walker and gave him a wheelchair. He fell and it's been over 12 hrs and still no trays. I feel very unhappy about the entire stay
