TANGLEWOOD NURSING & REHABILITATION

My dad is currently a patient here and the staff have been great with him. His care team works well together there and includes his family on all his medical updates and progress notes. He’s made leaps and bounds of improvement in therapy as well and can get around decently well now again!

My dad was there for a short time and it was terrible. I found him one night pantless while eating dinner. Another time he didn't have sheets on the bed all night.

There are some nice workers then there ones who can't do there jobs right my sister in law try calling her dad and was met with we can't give out information had nothing to do with her wanting to talk to her dad she said she wanted to talk to her dad and rudely hung up on

Place NEEDS to be SHUT DOWN!! I was there for rehab, but my medications were wrong, the food was lousy, call lights were ignored, I never saw a doctor! I could (and would leave in 4 days) but I felt sorry for the patients and staff who felt that they could not. They were not allowed to complain or it would be taken out on them, that was evident by the neglect and very little care. The upper management seemed to be the cause as they were the ones that allowed the treatments and behaviors to decay.

My Uncle resided at Tanglewood off and on for two years. While at first we had concerns because of some of the reviews we read we soon discovered what a wonderful caring place Tanglewood really is. The staff went out of their way to make my Uncle comfortable and to provide activities for him to keep him entertained. I was often amazed at the ideas they came up with and the way they thought "out of the box" to address his individual needs. Finding the right fit for a relative is difficult at best. When making this decision it is important to evaluate not only the physical plant but the dedication of the staff that will be caring for your loved one. I do not believe we could have found a more loving caring staff if we tried. Thank you to each and everyone who cared for my Uncle. I am not sure how I would have managed especially once COVID came on the scene. While I wasn't able to see him face to face like before, I knew he was being loved and cared for and that was a huge relief.
