We had to put 2 of our family members in there. It is a sad time to have to do it, but I definitely want to go there if I had to go there myself. Sunnyview had a good staff at the time they was admitted there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They had daily activities for the residents to do. They would try to get your loved ones up out of bed to participate in their activities. Unlike other places would just let them lay and die. I would definitely recommend going there if a family member have to go to a nursing home. Plus they had apartments as well.

One of my clients needed to go to a nursing home for a while. On a visit to see how he was doing I was pleased to see that he was scooting around the home in a wheelchair and looking better than I had seen him in a long time. Very impressed!

Please, if you love your family member, find a better facility. They are constantly understaffed, only have ONE aide per station on weekends, they have frequent staff turnover that might be contributed to the fact that they keep hiring people with major addiction issues. The sent ANOTHER one home a couple weeks ago because she had a positive drug test on shift. They've had issues with staff STEALING residents meds(one finally got convicted), they've been cited because they did NOT notify the state when these things were happening, they decided to investigate them 'in house'.🤨 The HIPPA violations I've witnessed are too numerous to mention, charts left open on the desk, computer screens open to patients info and no staff around, other residents behind the desk going through other residents charts/nursing notes and searching through drawers, unlocked/open med drawers unattended. One nurse brings his puppy to work (not a therapy dog, his PUPPY) they have charge nurses supervising their own children, some staff bring their kids to work and let them run the halls, disturbing the residents. The kitchen cannot get a tray right to save their life. Can't keep them the right temp, whoever orders food NEVER orders enough for the week, they ALWAYS run out. So either they aren't ordering right or someone is stealing food. So, PLEASE, if possible, keep your loved one in their home, your home and get help there, or go to a different facility entirely!!
