Sunrise is the best Facility that I have come across in my 23 years of nursing. I am proud to say that I know at least four of the staff members personally they do great work. The facility itself goes above and beyond on most of all holidays to make sure the residents and the staff feel most welcome. They do one year marks they do celebrations they do happy birthdays they’re just a fun filled heartwarming Facility and I sincerely would recommend them for residence of family members closest to me and or my own family.

From the minute we walked into Sunrise Skilled Nursing and Rehab in Virden, IL, Megan made us feel welcome. She was incredibly helpful, guiding us through the process with ease and ensuring all our questions were answered. Her kindness and professionalism truly made a difference during what could have been a stressful time. The care provided by the nursing and therapy staff has been top-notch. They are attentive, compassionate, and dedicated to ensuring the residents receive the best care possible. My loved one has made noticeable improvements, and I’ve appreciated the consistent communication from the team. While the facility itself could use some updating, the quality of care and the support from the staff, especially Megan, more than make up for it. If you’re looking for a place where your loved one will be cared for with compassion and professionalism.

Sunrise Skilled Nursing And Rehab is a great facility. The staff is very kind and helpful. Kourtney Cox -Director of Social Services- is great with her patients and families. She care very much about her patients and families. Kourtney goes the extra mile to be sure that their needs are met and the discharge plans are safe.

I don't even know where to start…We had to make the toughest decision so far on this journey with our mother to put her into a skilled nursing facility. You hear all the stories of nursing homes the good the bad and the ugly and it is pretty scary when you are faced with this decision. We chose Sunrise after we had a nice, informative reassuring meeting with the CEO Suzi. We left knowing our mother was going to be in amazing hands. She has now been here for 3 months. Its was a rocky start for her with dementia and trying to readjust to a new place after a recent stroke but she fits in here like family. The other residents and staff here have taken her in and made her comfortable and safe. I wish i could honestly give this facility 10 stars because from the most amazing CNA’s to the sweetest nurses to the housekeepers, maintenance crew for keeping things tidy. The kitchen making some good food she enjoys and the amazing therapy department that work with her to get her some strength back and of course we can’t forget activities group for making things fun around there for all of the residents. I can’t say THANK YOU enough. I will finish by saying because of each and every one of YOU day in and day out doing the hardest jobs EVER…I can go home at night and sleep knowing she is in great hands. Thank You ALL so much!
