AUTUMN LAKE HEALTHCARE AT WEST HARTFORD

After my mother's back surgery in early 2025, we were nervous about finding the right rehab spot. Autumn Lake Healthcare exceeded every expectation and truly felt like a warm embrace during a tough time. From the moment we walked in with its clean, homey rooms and beautifully maintained grounds – put us at ease The staff here are absolute rockstars! The nurses were attentive and kind, always checking in with genuine smiles and quick responses to any needs.

My mom stayed at Autumn Lake for three months after a very serious surgery. My siblings and I visited every day, so we saw firsthand how dedicated the nursing staff is. Twice, my mother’s life was saved because the team recognized critical warning signs and made the decision to rush her back to the hospital. If they hadn’t caught those signs, she would not be with us today. We have experience with three local facilities, and Autumn Lake is by far the best. Roberta and the nurses she employs — Margaret, Mira, and Luna — were true angels. My mom was a very complicated patient, and thanks to their commitment and care, she was able to successfully complete rehab. The food is honestly terrible, and that’s the one thing that really needs improvement. But knowing that, we simply kept food in the fridge and the nurses kindly brought it to her. In the end, what truly matters is the care — and at Autumn Lake, the nursing and support staff make all the difference. Roberta is a shining star, and we are deeply grateful to her and her team for everything they did for our mom. Thank you!

Roberta and the nursing staff were wonderful in our families difficult time. The level of care provided was excellent. Couldn't have asked for a better staff. The food left alot to be desired though. Facility was always clean and welcoming.

A family friend spent several months this year critically ill, moving back and forth between the hospital and a few different rehab facilities. Autumn Lake at the Reservoir was the absolute best. The first floor team detected a life threatening condition that required immediate hospitalization and surgery which saved her life. Many thanks to Roberta and team for their exceptional care.
