WHITTIER HOSPITAL MEDICAL CTR D/P SNF

I recently gave birth to my first baby at this hospital. I went in for a scheduled induction, the care was amazing. They are truly patient care centered. I never felt unsafe, or disregarded. I know every birth story is different but I honestly believe the care I received during labor and postpartum made my birth story a positive, non traumatic one. Every nurse I encountered was amazing. I truly hope this maternity ward is available to many generations in the future, a small hospital with a big heart.

I want to thank all the staff at Whittier Medical Center! They did an amazing job taking care of me when I wasn’t able to care for myself. From admitting and blood work to surgery prep, the recovery room, and discharge, every staff member I met was kind, professional, and compassionate. I am so grateful for the care I received—everyone was truly AMAZING!

The facility is clean, the staff is friendly, and the doctors are caring. I didn't have to wait long to see the doctor, who continuously checked on me and provided updates quickly. While I don't normally like visiting hospitals, this has been the best experience I have had in the emergency room. Thank you !

If I could give this E.R negative stars I definitely would. I came in because I’d been having this severe headache for 2 months with no relief and now I was having facial numbness and facial pain. I was seen at the end of July here and had a great experience with the night staff but this morning staff is so unprofessional. Starting from the registration staff, I was standing at the window without being acknowledged and then the E.R doctor was talking to me like as if I was an idiot and he’s the first doctor I’ve seen in my life. I was made to feel as if what I was going through was nothing. The pain I felt could be solved with a band aid. I know what the E.R is for and my pain was emergent. But I’d rather drive hundreds of miles away than to be seen by a doctor who doesn’t care. Hopefully if future patients have emergency’s they’ll be treated better. But I’d never come here again. As for the registration member who told me as I had visible tears in my eyes that no matter if I walked out after barely seeing a doctor with no treatment that I’d still be charged, I hope you learn some compassion and how to talk to people.

Took my father there at Friday night 7:00 p.m. for head trauma, he has opened one and was briefly unconscious for a few seconds. I was lucky that they were not that many people in the waiting room the nurse practitioner I seen my doctor shortly after we check in, we got CT and X-ray done, that's the first hour. My father also got his wound clean they shot and Staples on his scalp. Radiologist was reading from home, since it is Friday night and it is after hour, it took 2 hours to get the reports back which is surprisingly fast. A lot of people don't understand that a lot of time the long wait is to wait for the test results, in the meantime I got my phone my power bank and my charging cable so I was ready for staying here overnight. I was able to get home by 11:00 p.m., the team author amazing care and my father follow up with his PCP the following Monday and everything's going well. there are three techs at CT they're are fast and efficient.
