THE WATERS OF WINCHESTER, LLC

I have lived here since February of 2023... I have always liked it until lately.. there's new management and the changes made have not been good at all..we are very under staffed so when we call for help it's taking 1 to over 2 hours for someone to come...that is a major problem..also the food hasn't been good lately either there's way to much processed meat..it can't be healthy for us...as im typing this I've been waiting 50 minutes for someone to help me..earlier today my roommate waited 2 hours to be changed... we need better than this.

My father is 100 and recently fell and broke his leg. We love that he has been transferred to The Waters of Winchester. The nursing staff, doctor, and administration are wonderful, and he agrees. We were concerned he would lie in his bed day after day and waste away like most nursing homes. It isn't like that at all. They have a great program of therapies: physical, occupational, and speech. Speech works on cognitive thinking and memory. He is in pain, of course, because of the surgery to pin his leg in 3 places. The therapists are kind yet encouraging and are doing therapies in increments. They're not expecting or pushing him to do things that he can't. He isn't able to toilet himself yet, so he needs to be changed. They never let him sit in anything and are vigilant about bed sores (from a previous facility). He gets to choose his meals the day before. They have a standby menu if he doesn't care for the menu items. They have snacks and drinks for the asking. The facility has a dining area where visitors can eat with the residents and has a large window to see outside. There are activities to go to if they want, like a movie, singing, games... In my dad's case, their plan is to get him far enough along to come home. We love that.

My Mom was there for 5 days before they gave her a bath. She stopped eating for a week and nursing home never one let me know. I was there every other day. Had to force them to send her toTullahoma Vanderbilt where all of her Drs are instead of Winchester.

My brother is. Being moved out as soon as possible no way this place is was dirty my brother could not get to his drank he's bed Rendon he had no bath since he been here for a week push a button no answer for hour no way I'd let him stay here any longer fill so bad for the outher
