ST JOSEPH'S HOME AL & NC, INC

My great aunt has been at St Joseph’s for five years now. She started off in the assisted living at age 90. We love the spirituality of the home. Mass is everyday if you want to attend. Confessions are regularly available and the sacrament of the sick is done yearly without asking . Being in a Catholic home makes a world difference both for mental and spiritual health . She was always well cared for there and they offer a good amount of activities . Everyone is pleasant and helpful and I am grateful for the care she has received sincerely. A few weeks ago she was moved to the nursing home side and I, again, could not be happier. Although she is now 95 and has declined as is expected , I find they are very in tune to the needs of the patient . Patients are always with someone , never alone , helped to eat and monitored well. Very good communication and , just as the assisted living, everyone is kind and helpful and genuinely concerned for their patients . I feel she is in the safest place she can be . The home is immaculate and spiritually inviting . A very warm place . Grateful to God for the home and the staff that work there .

St. Joseph's is a very beautiful place. The staff is very great in caring for your loves ones. I'm so at peace now with my mom being here. I love how it all residents are out of their rooms doing activies. My mom love it here she says the food is great and the nurses are great. I thank you St. Jiseph for the you are giving my mom. October 14, 2025 St. Joseph’s Nursing Center is truly and amazing and wonderful home for your love ones. When I tell you this facility is like no other. Sister Joanna take beautiful pictures of the flower garden,the residents with the flowers,and especially the Birthday parties. The entire staff is loving and caring. I’m so blessed for my mom to be here. Thank You everyone for the amazing love that you show to each and every resident that’s there.

My mom has been in St. Joseph's since December 2024 and in that time I have seen how wonderful the nuns and staff take care of her and all who are in their care. The facility is immaculate and always smells so fresh. The patient's are always dressed in clean clothes and I can see the joy on my mom's face that she expresses when she sees a staff member. The staff ALWAYS let you know what care is being given to my mom should a medical problem arise. This was a hard decision for me to make. I prayed for guidance in making this decision and I can say with my faith in God, this was the RIGHT decision for my mom. Thank you to all the nuns and staff for taking care of my mom and all that are in their care with such patience and love. Bless you all!

I am forever grateful to St. Joseph's Senior Home - Assisted Living & Nursing Center. My dad lived in peace and comfort at this facility for 7 years. He considered all of the residents and staff as his extended family. His dying wish in the hospital was to return home to St Joe’s to say his final goodbyes and with god’s grace that window of time was granted and I was able to get him back “home” to make that happen. St Joseph’s is an amazing facility and I love them all for the respect, kindness, and love they gave to us through the years.

My mother was there from 9/22/22 -3-16-2025. I loved all the nurses, volunteers, Sisters’ but Sister B & Sister Joseph will always have a special place in my ❤️and will forever. They treated my mom with compassion, dignity, & empathy. They run a clean place and keep winter viruses down such as Covid, pneumonia, RSV, etc. They treated us as a family with kindness, compassion and love as well. Denise Weigele was diagnosed with Dementia at the very young age of 65. I quit my full time job to be her caregiver until I had a hard time carrying her upstairs for showers & keeping weight on her. She passed at 72 right before her 73rd birthday. I don’t think she would have minded in the end she was suffering & in a vegetative state. The sisters even showed up to our service I was so shocked and delighted I cried happy tears. She had a beautiful send off. Thank you to all the hard working staff and the long nights & days they work. They make it as fun as possible for the patients to live out their final years there! GOD BLESS you All ! Michelle Weigele
