EXCEL AT WOODBURY FOR REHAB AND NURSING, L L C

Our experience with was deeply disappointing and far below the professional standards we expected. Although the facility presents itself very well in advertisements and online, the actual level of care provided was nowhere near what was promised. Unfortunately, we encountered several issues that made it clear that this center does not operate with the level of professionalism, coordination, or attention that families expect when trusting them with a loved one: • Staff professionalism was noticeably lacking, and there seemed to be very poor coordination among team members. • My grandmother’s needs were not monitored or addressed in a consistent or organized manner. • Communication with the family was slow, unclear, and far from transparent. • Several important concerns that required prompt attention were either ignored or handled with significant delay. • The overall environment, which we expected to be calm, reliable, and care-focused, was instead far below acceptable standards, especially in terms of attention to detail and quality of service. During her stay, my grandmother’s condition actually worsened, and we ultimately felt we had no choice but to remove her from the facility for her safety and well-being. This review reflects our personal experience, but I strongly recommend that families seeking a truly professional, trustworthy, and attentive care environment take extra time to evaluate other options to avoid a similar experience.

My grandmother stayed at this rehab facility for 3–4 days, and the experience was horrendous The place was very dirty, she wasn’t given water throughout the 3-4 days and my mother had to give my grandmother water, and the staff kept her in bed the whole time without proper care. They didn’t change her brief—my mom had to do it herself. She left home with healthy skin, but came back with a painful rash and an open wound on her bottom. They also gave her the wrong medication. Very unprofessional and unacceptable. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE ALSO VERY OLDER PEOPLE!!!

From the minute, I walked into the place to the administration people that I met. Everything was beautiful welcoming, warming, and as I walked around the unit units passed by rooms or the patient seemed extremely happy and so have the family members very extremely nice place.

I have my brother-in-law in Excel rehab. It has been nothing less than a very pleasant experience the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the place is much more than I expected. I am totally pleased with our three week stay as of now still have a long road ahead of us. Thank you excel for going above And beyond for your patients.

Mom has been there for two weeks . The staff is both caring and engaging. Never heard anyone say anything but positive accolades about Excel Rehab.
