Back than 2009 my father had stay there for 5 years it was very nice nursing home. Friendly like family members. They had creek near that facility you can do fishing. I caught a largemouth bass 15 inch and bigger pikes there. A+

Our mother spent several weeks here for what we knew were her final earthly days. She was cared for with kindness and compassion. Staff were very attentive to her needs and coordinated medical care with Agrace Hospice for pain management. We so appreciate the care that was provided.

Columbia County Health Care has fantastic long term staff that mentor and train younger staff. Level of care is amazing! I never have to ask that my mom be taken to the bathroom, bathed, put to sleep at normal time, helped up at normal time or anything else. They have a full time activities person for every 20 residents and really work hard to offer something for everyone. Staff treat those with needs very respectfully. Building maintenance and cleanliness is 10 star. I cannot recommend highly enough! Staff are passionate about their jobs at all levels. I am grateful.

My special needs sister was there for about a week and they sat her in a wheelchair that was to small for her. They would not let her go to bed when she wanted to. She was always told it wasn't time to go to bed yet. She started to retain water so they gave her a diuretic but didn't watch her fluid intake and she got dehydrated and ended up in the hospital. I would not recommend this facility.

Barb Leann I believe your post was meant for a different facility with the same name in another state. I can attest that what you describe does NOT happen in Wyocena, Wi.
