Arden Courts of Allentown

My mom has been there close to 2 years. Everyone I have met over that time has been very friendly, inclusive, compassionate and hardworking. They treat the residents as if they were part of their own family. The staff all greet residents by name and take care of them even if they are in a different wing from where they live. While I consider them all saints for doing what they do every day, I interact with Mimi and Victoria the most. Both of them are very caring towards their residents, always smiling and welcoming when I am there. Arden just had a remodel so everything looks refreshed. Large outside walking area available for the residents to get fresh air and regular activities daily. I would definitely recommend them if you have a family member with dementia or Alzheimer’s.

Both of my parents resided at Arden Courts for the last 4 to 8 months of their lives. I still remember the day I drove to the facility to sign the contract—I had to pull over to calm myself down, wondering if I was making the right decision. But from the day they moved in, I never once regretted it. The staff took excellent care of them and treated them with genuine compassion. The facility was well-maintained and offered daily enrichment activities. I especially appreciated the interconnected paths and courtyards, which were safe, thoughtfully landscaped with seasonal plants, and provided a peaceful outdoor space for residents and their families. I want to give a special shout-out to Madelline and J (the med tech), who I felt weren’t just doing their jobs but truly cared for my parents with love. I also want to extend my gratitude to the rest of the staff—many of whom were also wonderful, even if I don’t know all their names. Your effort and kindness did not go unnoticed.

Our mother has been a resident of Arden courts for the last two years, she just recently passed. I would say that every staff member from the chef, aides, janitorial, absolutely everyone were amazing. They all treated our mother with love and care and went out of their way for her. They were all amazing. In her final hours they could not do enough for her and our family. The care they provided was outstanding. Although they all cared and were excellent Madeline (Maddy) was exceptional, she loved my mother and my mother loved her. I consider her a true professional and a friend. I would highly recommend this place for the care of your loved one.

During her time at the facility, we had the privilege of witnessing the compassion, professionalism, and humanity of many staff members. However, one caregiver in particular stood out—Beverly. Her kindness, attentiveness, and genuine concern for my mother’s well-being brought immense comfort to both her and our family during a profoundly difficult time. Whether it was through gentle conversation, thoughtful gestures, or simply being present when it mattered most, Beverly exemplified the very best of what caregiving should be. Their presence made a lasting impression, and I believe they deserve to be recognized for the extraordinary care they provided. After reviewing at least 12 memory care facilities in the Allentown area My daughter and I selected Arden Courts as a place for my wife. That was 10 months ago: we have nor regretted that decision. The staff is so caring - they do whatever is necessary to keep the residents content. The food is excellent! Activities are planned to keep the residents engaged. The facility is very clean - residents rooms are cleaned weekly. The administration is prompt to address any issues that’s arise. My wife is very happy at Arden - has many new friends.
