Just OK, half of the staff is awesome the other half is just there for the paycheck. The food is not good, I overheard the staff talking in disbelief about how bad it is. This place is best if you just need minimal assistance.
Stay away! A scam! Too expensive and they take advantage of elderly and they don’t communicate with family. After my dad passed away they tried to triple my mom’s rent with NO extra services and no warning. It was very stressful and worrisome for her while she was still grieving the loss of her husband of 56 years. We put our foot down and said we are moving out. So sad because it is a nice facility but they obviously don’t know how to communicate and truly care for our loved ones. Don’t even bother with a tour!
The building is beautiful the staff however were very rude and uncooperative when working with their seniors for long-term care insurance. The director of nursing sent the CNA out to tell me they could not give me information after two people had said they would send information to me. They did not contact the family nor did they contact the claimant their tenant. When I arrived in the building the CNA was arguing with one of the tenants in front of everybody about the newspapers. If I would have been a surveyor I would have had a lot of questions I've been doing this job for 32 years it doesn't matter how nice the building is and how new it is and how much advertising you do if you don't have the right staff in the right position things will be difficult for everybody
We have had the opportunity to work with Round Lake Senior Living many times and can't say enough great things about their community and staff! They are always willing to go the extra mile to ensure the residents are well taken care of. Each client we have helped relocate into this community is thriving. Highly recommend!
This is a great facility. They are so intentional about making sure the residents are engaged and happy. They have such fun activities and their ribbon cutting is adorable and clever for when a resident moves into their new apartment. They offer a lot of help to residents with services and the staff always tries their best to meet all the needs. Love working with them.
