Brookdale Meridian Arvada

Brookdale Meridian Arvada is a wonderful independent living community, with emphasis on community. The residents are friendly and caring, trying to make sure each one is recognized and included in daily activities. I have lived here just two months but already feel at home and welcomed in each aspect of daily life. My one-bedroom apartment is just the right size for my needs, with plenty of space to move around and keep my belongings. I am blessed to have found Brookdale Meridian and heartedly recommend you consider it in your search for your new home.

My mom has been a resident for almost 2 years. This was the best move that we could have made… From the day we arrived Mom was not only greeted by a wonderful “staff” (more like family) but the residents welcomed her immediately and made her feel included in the community. Both the building and the grounds of Brookdale are always being tended too and the inside is so very clean and welcoming. Mom has a 1 bedroom apartment which is the perfect size, housekeeping comes once a week and if anything happens, maintenance is always on site. Mom goes to the dining room for meals and it is a great time to visit friends. One thing that I appreciate and want to acknowledge is the dining room staff. Each “server” truly listens to the resident and is patient. There are quite a few young adults working here and they are so very kind and respectful…not a quality you always find these days. There are many activities to enjoy if you choose. You will definitely appreciate the high standards of those who are part of Brookdale Meridian Arvada!

My name is Corinne Schieman. Prior to Brookdale Meridian Arvada, I was living alone in a very comfortable but isolated cabin on the outskirts of Salida, a three and a half hour drive from my daughter’s home.With vision and balance issues I could not drive…and after two falls that required medical attention, My daughter and I looked at several senior living opportunities in the metro area. Gratefully, we chose Brookdale. The building and grounds are lovely, dining staff is patient and kind. I especially like the exercise programs with many opportunities for community involvement, maintenance is efficient, housekeepers are amazing, reception staff are born problem solvers and residents are extremely friendly and welcoming. I feel very safe, secure and happy with my Brookdale choice as is my family!

I moved in to Brookdale 3 and a 1/2 years ago. Kind of when I first moved in. I wasn't sure I wanted to move here but I did and I'm so happy that I'm here. I plan to I right now. My plans are I will be here till the day. I die and I'm very happy with here. Things to go well, I'm i'm. I like I like the dining room.I like the food that is offered.There's always something optional.That's available if you don't like what's being offered.I like the people here. Probably if I had any grapes at all is sometimes a lack of information of what's happening.But otherwise I am very very happy here.

I have been a resident here for about four and a half years, and I have really appreciated how much the experience has enriched my time. Not only are the workers here all wonderful people, but the residents are great too. The Brookdale Meridian Arvada supports independent living but also creates a community. Each apartment has individual heating and A/C. There is also housekeeping to help you keep your place in tip top shape. And while that means your individual area is maintained, you can also always find something worth doing in the common areas too. There are daily meals possible in the dining hall, movie nights, fun programs, events, and outings. There are exercise and fitness opportunities, and we even have a barber shop! Many of the facilities can support your needs, and the great location (as well as the shuttle to help you get around) helps you get the few things not found on-site. I enjoy my time here so much, and I really feel at home.
