About

Atria at the Arboretum

Atria at the Arboretum is a licensed assisted living facility located in Austin, Texas. Assisted Living Facilities provide housing, meals, personal care, and support services in a residential setting designed to promote independence while providing needed assistance.

Services typically include assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, eating), medication management, meals, housekeeping, laundry, social and recreational activities, transportation, and 24-hour staff availability. Some facilities offer specialized memory care.

Who We Serve: Assisted Living Facilities serve older adults and people with disabilities who need help with daily activities but do not require the 24-hour skilled nursing care provided in nursing homes.

In Texas, facilities like Atria at the Arboretum are typically regulated by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. This type of facility generally operates under a Assisted Living Facility License (Type A or Type B).

Payment Options: In Texas, Medicaid may help pay for assisted living through the STAR+PLUS. Eligibility is based on both financial and functional criteria. Contact Texas Health and Human Services or visit https://www.hhs.texas.gov/services/health/medicaid-chip/programs-services/long-term-care to learn about eligibility requirements and how to apply. Wait lists are common for waiver programs, so applying early is recommended.

Families researching assisted living options should verify the facility's current license status, review any inspection reports, and schedule a visit to assess whether the environment and services meet their loved one's needs. You can verify this facility's license and view inspection reports at Texas's facility search. For more information about assisted living regulations in Texas, visit Texas Health and Human Services Commission.

Licensing requirements and regulations may change. We recommend verifying current requirements directly with your state's licensing agency.

I just had a temporary 30 day stay at the ATRIA SENIOR LIVING. It definitely gets 5 Stars. Everyone from the initial leasing contact, Sarah Larson all the way to the top with Atria Head administrator Marney Warren everyone is absolutely determined to deliver me my best living experience. There are several women who man the front desk over a 24 hour period. They remember everyone’s name and particular individual needs. Every few nights they call at bedtime just to see if everything is good. They are all good at empowering and connective small talk. Pick an activity and they are offering it. The place has a great parking garage but more importantly The Atria has approximately 40 guest parking spaces out front. The abundant guest parking is a huge deal and convenience for the multiple guests that come to visit this very beautiful facility. The facility is designated INDEPENDENT LIVING only. That is very important. Most are mixed with assisted. If you are semi healthy with active brain you want a facility designated at Independent Living. Joe 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fun place! Got to visit in the meeting room area. Had a networking event hosting in the meeting room area just past the piano where a gentleman presented on guy health to residents and those who are involved in senior care. Got a quick tour. Nice library, plenty of parking. Can only comment as a visitor for this review. Was respectfully greeted by the seniors here as well who all shared positive things about this place, how their treated, and the convinces this location afforded them. :)

I recently had the pleasure of visiting a beautiful senior living community in the hill country, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! The setting is serene and picturesque, with stunning views of the rolling hills that create a peaceful atmosphere. The community is well-maintained, and the attention to detail is impressive. What truly stood out to me, however, was the wonderful staff. They are not only compassionate and friendly but also genuinely dedicated to enriching the lives of the residents. Their warmth and professionalism made the visit even more enjoyable. I wholeheartedly recommend this community to anyone looking for a vibrant and supportive place for their loved ones.

My mother lived at Atria Arboretum for 8 years, and her experience was exceptional. Every Staff member is caring, attentive and friendly, and typically goes above and beyond to ensure residents are cared for.

I have been coming to Atria Arboretum to spend time with my bonus grandma for over a year. I am so amazed by the quality of everything I experience here. The staff is incredibly friendly and go out of their way to be of service. I have been a guest in the dining room where the food was wonderful and our waitstaff obviously knew and cared for the residents deeply. Everything is clean and beautifully decorated. My Grandma is 100.5 and absolutely loves being here and participating in the incredible programming options for social, knowledge, creative, and health & fitness pursuits. Definitely check it out if you are in the market for great senior living in a fabulous part of Austin!
