The Mezzanine at Golden West

Golden West, a non-profit organization, has been in the business of providing affordable housing and services for seniors since 1965. Our assisted living, The Mezzanine, was part of the assisted living pilot program in Colorado and opened in 1989. The assisted living has 56 studio apartments; single occupancy with private bathrooms. There are four floors in the newly renovated assisted living with a dining room and 14 apartments on each floor, so each floor feels like a small neighborhood. The monthly fee (private pay and Medicaid) includes the rent, all utilities including telephone, cable and Internet, medication administration, three meals a day, housekeeping, laundry, bathing assistance, activities, and assistance with transportation arrangements. In addition to having over 30 years experience with assisted living, Golden West has created a true community that is supportive and has a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
